You know players tend to improve the longer they play...All you guys were talking crap about Linder, until he shut you up. Lets see what Sonny does, before we bash a kid who is going into just his fourth year of playing the sport. I think the kid will ball this year. I rarely doubt Kehoe.
Odogwu has been getting the majority of the reps at RT, but McDermott and Isidora (with Joe Brown sliding in at guard) have also gotten reps.
In practice, Sonny has been shockingly impressive. I couldn't believe it at first, but he is performing consistently. He finally looks comfortable as a football player, and his physical gifts (particularly his long arms and upper-body strength) are starting to show.
If it was up to me, I'd give him a chance to start against FAU and Bethune. McDermott's future is at LG and we may as well get it started now. If Sonny can't handle it, we can always move McDermott back outside.

You may be right. The problem is that he's lining up against guys who are not asked to rush the passer often (that skillset hasn't been developed like it should). If you line up Sonny against a speed rusher on an opposing team whose sole job is to get to the qb - lights out. JMO
Who is Sonny lining up against? Trent Harris?

How do you know who Sunny lines up against?
And for 2, how does he know what type of defense sunny is going against. Is our offense practicing against our d, or are we showing them defenses we will see this year?
KC already said Golden told him he is the starting RT in a interview after one of the practices.
AG sent him to a Bull fighting Seminar in Mexico City over the summer...His "Olay" has greatly improved...plus he learned how to make authentic chimichangasEveryone who's seen a practice says Sonny's night and day better than last year...
Yeah, Gregory only busted up Gadbois for 7 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble.
Didn't kill him at all.

Our base defense is a 3-4, so he is either blocking Chad Thomas, AQM, Trent Harris, Tyriq McCord or Darrien Owens. I wouldn't worry about Sonny.

(Even though these numbers are inaccurate) At least Gadbois wasn't a complete ****** while getting whooped.
