Question for you OP [MENTION=5374]HurricaneVision[/MENTION]: Can there be an argument made that certain aggressive behavior -- which leads to creating more turnovers -- might actually benefit the defense in the long run because they give the offense an extra possession to score (and better field position)? In terms of our secondary, Artie had by far the post penalties, but he also created the most turnovers in the ACC -6 ints.

Obviously the context (timing, field position, game score) of the turnover can dictate how important it actually was but I'm curious to see this argument fleshed out, although that would probably take another herculean effort on your part. Thanks for the detailed post, OP. One of the best and most intelligent analysis i have seen on this board - much appreciated.
