Virginia and Louisville Lost 👀

I’m sure someone already posted something similar but this seems about the most realistic I could come up with

i've come up with other scenarios, even one where we jumped Duke when I switched the Stanford/Cal result to Stanford (common oppo %).
However, I couldn't find a path to the ACCCG where GT beats Pitt
(assuming GT beats BC this weekend).

You know what's a joke?

People talking **** about the ACC beating each other up.

Yet the SEC is doing the same thing. When it happens there, "the conference is full of talent".

The BIG10 is so top heavy the bottom doesn't have the talent to do it.
There is no such thing as a "quality loss" in the ACC.

While it does nothing for the ACC race, I maintain that ND @ Pitt next week is the single most important game for Miami’s playoff chances.

If Pitt upsets ND, they are out with 3 losses and an at-large spot opens up. Pitt will be ranked top 20, maybe top 15. We then beat Pitt and go to the playoffs as a 10 seed.

😳

I guess I'm in the minority - I don't give af about the playoffs, we're clearly not good enough to win the whole ******* thing.

I'm desperate to win the ACC though - which obviously we won't have a chance to this year.
I 100% agree we don't have what it takes to win the whole thing, but making the playoffs generates more revenue and looks a **** of a lot better for recruiting, so it is a very big deal, so I would say yes, you are absolutely in the minority. Although, with a lot of the "hot" takes on here, maybe not as minor as we think...........

The goal is to win championships. To get there you need to make the playoffs. Continuing to choke away the ACC makes it harder, but the ultimate goal is National Championships, not Conference, not State, not petty showouts against **** teams.

And to your point, revenue. Recruiting. Momentum.

It’s a 12 team playoff now - make it or get the **** out of here.

I'm actually trying to figure out the FSU-VT game this weekend. Obviously I ******* hate FSU, but VT with another loss goes to 7 Ls and not even a bowel game to play for against us. Plus I strongly dislike VT.

But do we need VT to keep playing at UVA to end the year?

It's all so annoying. Just beat State this week.

I feel like they will keep playing hard. Would be great for them to beat the Noles.

Massive rivalry, they'll always show up

TrumpyCane posted few days ago Vt has beaten them 19/20 times
