It's a wrap if GT beats Pitt in 2 weeks (this assumes they beat BC next week)..
Why?
They take 2 teams not one
TrumpyCane thinks Pitt beats them anyway

It really should just be the two highest ranked teams in the Playoff Poll.No clue the scenarios but I hope several finish 6-2 then what?!
i've come up with other scenarios, even one where we jumped Duke when I switched the Stanford/Cal result to Stanford (common oppo %).I’m sure someone already posted something similar but this seems about the most realistic I could come up with

I plugged a bunch of different scenarios into the calculator that's floating around this thread (see post above). Why?

There is no such thing as a "quality loss" in the ACC.You know what's a joke?
People talking **** about the ACC beating each other up.
Yet the SEC is doing the same thing. When it happens there, "the conference is full of talent".
The BIG10 is so top heavy the bottom doesn't have the talent to do it.
While it does nothing for the ACC race, I maintain that ND @ Pitt next week is the single most important game for Miami’s playoff chances.
If Pitt upsets ND, they are out with 3 losses and an at-large spot opens up. Pitt will be ranked top 20, maybe top 15. We then beat Pitt and go to the playoffs as a 10 seed.
I 100% agree we don't have what it takes to win the whole thing, but making the playoffs generates more revenue and looks a **** of a lot better for recruiting, so it is a very big deal, so I would say yes, you are absolutely in the minority. Although, with a lot of the "hot" takes on here, maybe not as minor as we think...........I guess I'm in the minority - I don't give af about the playoffs, we're clearly not good enough to win the whole ******* thing.
I'm desperate to win the ACC though - which obviously we won't have a chance to this year.

It's turning in to Gator recruiting math level calculus in here. Keep up the good work boys.I plugged a bunch of different scenarios into the calculator that's floating around this thread (see post above).
I agree on Pitt>GT.
This is an incredible weird interview. As a head coach during a pre-game media interview, why tf would you say this? Lmao
I feel like they will keep playing hard. Would be great for them to beat the Noles.I'm actually trying to figure out the FSU-VT game this weekend. Obviously I ******* hate FSU, but VT with another loss goes to 7 Ls and not even a bowel game to play for against us. Plus I strongly dislike VT.
But do we need VT to keep playing at UVA to end the year?
It's all so annoying. Just beat State this week.

ACC OOC Record 2024: 46-15The problem is the acc goes to Uconn and gets smacked up.. ooc the acc looks like crap
Rivalry so for sure they’ll play hard. Plus if drones has a “against Miami” type game they can be hard to beatMassive rivalry, they'll always show up
TrumpyCane posted few days ago Vt has beaten them 19/20 times
