Venables takes shot at Miami, forgets his own history.

This. Embarrassing and deflecting.. "We were bad but they were worse so look at them.. and also forget that we lost by more to our rival than they did their rival"

I don't know much about Oklahomas schedule. How many blowout losses to a G5 did they have?

They won 11 games in 2021. Venebles managed to squander a Jeff Lebby offense with a perceived top 10 QB in Gabriel and cut that win total in half, with a 50 point loss to their rival in three quarters.

Go mope somewhere else.

He's not wrong about us but it really doesn't look any different... us compared to Oklahoma. They were just as bad. Worse really when you consider how much the previous guy won and them him show up and go 6-7. Everyone knew they'd fall off a little but playoff team to 6-7 was a worse look than Manny going 7-5 and Mario going 5-7.

We both had our QBs get injured and it took it's toll. Both blown out by our rivals. We dealt with far more injuries overall than they did.

What a clown. I'm sure he's taking his shots and then sending it to the recruits we're H2H against. That's all that was
With Mario, thats a feature, not a bug.. Atleast what I have been told

The previous guy took their Heisman trophy winning QB w/ him. Lol. Our guy had a QB who was supposed to be poised for a 1st round pick. U guys really have to stop looking at things black & white. OU 2021 wasn’t the same as OU 2022. Miami 2022 was the same as Miami 2021 sans Rambo.

Hence the "everyone knew they would fall off a little" comment

It's pretty black and white that Oklahoma was far better poised to win in 2022 than Miami was. Both had injured QBs and I had seen Dillon Gabriel getting just as much hype going to play for Lebby.

Oklahoma was pre-season number 9 in 2022.

both sucked. miami was ranked too in the preseason. Mario was worse bc he has more exp and it shouldn't have been like it was (we also lost in worse fashion). either way, it was a self own by BV lol. I suck but that other ****** over there drinking coffee all day w man ***** sucked too

LOL, this loose cannon is an implosion waiting to happen.

There's a reason Venables spent 10 seasons as a lead assistant in one of the country's top programs before he finally landed a HC job when OU got caught off-guard by Riley's departure. This crackpot got some baggage.

Right now Venables is already approaching late-Coker Miami territory for what he did relative to what he inherited.

As frustrating as last year was in year 1 with Mario, Venables performance was relatively worse.

Coker didn't fall off a cliff in his first year. He won a national championship, and then proceeded to slooowly **** the bed 1 extra loss at a time.

If my coach did this I'd be ******* embarrassed.

How you would be if your coach lost to Middle Tennessee and trailed a truly mediocre semenholes team 31-3 in the second quarter?

(Me, too)

No offense, but imma bout to be offensive.

I have simple ?’s

Is Mario a better a coach than Manny or nah?
Is Brent a better coach than Riley or nah?
Is Fckin Dillon a better QB than Williams or nah?

Furthermore, u realize that OU’s O was still very, Very good. So maybe if they had a Williams vs. a Dillon, instead of losing by 3, they win by 3. OU Defense stunk, & they stunk under Riley. EVERYTHING about us stunk last year, bruh.

Everyone who’s in my PM know I don’t look at just W/L, I look at full totality of everything. I was the main one on here championing & excusing all the bull **** that took place last season, & u can make my receipts or go ask @Wario Cristobum & @crossover22[]_[] as we battled back & forth.

I was in my “we believe” feelings, & I do what I do every year, go back & rewatch our chit. This time I painstakingly took the time to rewatch both 2021 & 2022 seasons, & I was absolutely flabbergasted & astonished at just how woeful the 2021 team looked in 2022.
