Haha. Fair enough as I think he also said there that he has 2 ACC teams in the Playoff this year (FSU & Clemson) but Nole delusion aside, that 6.5 o/u win total was always insane. I was just glad for as much to be said on eSECpn airwaves aside from the occasional outlier like Kanell when he decides to talk us up....and isn't saying UCF is a better job.

We ain't losing to Vag Tech. Fuente isn't an immediate turn around guy. Look at his arc at Memphis. He won 3 games or so his first couple years.

He didn't have a defense at Memphis and had "Memphis talent". Va Tech has a Bud Foster D and talent still on offense with Ford, Hodges, and McMillan. They just need to settle on a QB.

I'm not saying we should lose either, but they Fuente has much more to work with Day 1 than he did at Memphis.

You're locked in wherever the number is at the time you place the bet.

Trubisky looked like Drew Bree's last year because he played late in blowouts against 2nd units. We should win 10 in the regular season. Good chance to knock off FSU and make it 11.

Well you can say that about all backups until given the opportunity, but many still don't fair as well as he did in mop-up duty. He was 40-47 for 555 and 6 TDs, with another 100 yards rushing on 16 carries. He's a redhsirt junior, so he knows the offense and has had reps too. I think you're underselling him. Marquise Williams was terribly inaccurate and still put up 3000 yards and 24 TDs passing.

You may be right, and he may better than Williams, but he's also not likely to be Marcus Mariota either. Considering they snuck up on a lot of teams last year and had something of a "magic" season, it's entirely possible for them to be more talented/disciplined/etc but not produce as effective an offense.

You're set with the over 7 regardless of where the O/U moves to.
Now if it does move to 9, what a lot of pro bettors will do (assuming they bet on the over 7) will be to put that same amount of money on the under 9. If the canes win 8, it's a double hit. Anything other win amount, they just pay the 'vig". That's the casino's cut on your bet.
