Imagine a world where Bama’s starting Ol was from Vandy and their star rb was from GT

Nice pickup with lots of eligibility remaining. Very well may start, but is young. Started 1 game last year. Watched Stock's interview with a Vandy guy. Not a burner, though he felt kid has a future in NFL; day 3 type. Legit developmental prospect for 'Canes. He said kid got beat on occasion last year but was their best corner this spring, though there were injuries at the receiver position. Not sure I'd start planning a parade, but a nice addition that helps offset recruiting losses at cb.

Every year we see guys neither from blue blood schools nor South Florida high schools getting drafted in the first 2 rounds. And how many times do we see local kids we didn’t recruit, go in the 1st 2 rounds? I’m glad we’re looking to identify/recruit the best we can find regardless.

That is the amazing mystery about sports. Stars, no stars, camps, no camps, all these things are not a given and dont always transition. The light comes on at different times for different players. I am happy we got these 2 studs. I hope they continue on that upward trajectory. I believe we have competent coaches and a good supporting staff that knows how to identify talent and continue building it. It is a good thing to see MC and company landing potential difference makers. LORD KNOWS. Lol
