LOL as if it matters there is another Winter Storm Warning for Baton Rouge while it's 80 degrees and sunny in Miami.


A mix of precipitation, including frozen forms, began falling lightly before noon in the Baton Rouge area.

With temperatures below freezing at 28 degrees as of 11:15 a.m., some elevated bridges not yet frozen over may begin to freeze. A list of current road closures can be found below and by clicking here.

In the northern part of the state, precipitation changed over from frozen rain or sleet to snow faster than meteorologists previously forecast, Slidell-based National Weather Service meteorologist Danielle Manning said. The same pattern of slushy precipitation changing to snow quicker than expected will likely occur in Baton Rouge, indicating less ice may accumulate -- good news for travel conditions.

Manning said precipitation will start in spurts Tuesday afternoon and become more continuous as the day progresses.

The NWS has updated its winter storm warning for southeast Louisiana, including Baton Rouge, calling for "significant amounts of wintry precipitation" through early Wednesday morning. Baton Rouge may get about an inch of snow, though other areas could see up to three inches.

Meanwhile, the staff is in Va, Jersey, STA, and a bunch of other schools all the time. But somehow they dont seem to be spending much time at Heritage, the home of all these guys we have offered, with Rumph as HC. But that doesnt strike you as odd right? Of course not, its just "Golden is stupid and lazy". The defacto answer to everything.

And one of the mods acknowledged in a thread leading up to junior day that the staff was going to give Gibson a great deal of attention during his visit. Gibson's frustration with Miami -- which has been recruiting him since the eighth grade -- not paying him as much attention as other schools appeared to subside when he said the Canes felt like home during junior day.

The staff moves all around the country to visit OOS recruits because that's what every staff worth its salt in the entire country does. There are no signals whatsoever pointing to corruption at American Heritage. It comes off as you interpreting information to potentially justify losing out on Gibson a year from now.

the logic behind your conclusion is what is off. Like I said, if TV wants or needs money then he will end up at a place that is paying him. So it is not a case of -- well if he ends up at the school I cheer for he didn't get paid..but if he goes to THAT school, well then he got paid.


lets put it like this....either TV is getting paid (by Miami, LSu, BYU, or whever he decides to go) or he simply liked one place or coaching over another.

c'mon C4l, you are old and smart enough to know how people work. Especially in your line of work. This is not a play the results type of thing -- the kid is either getting paid (wherever he goes) or he isn't.

Yet they are at STA all the time. Visiting some of the same programs over and over again. But despite having all these offers out at Heritage, and Mike Rumph as coach, they dont come around much. Doesnt strike you as odd? And if Gibson goes elsehwere, I NEVER said he was being bought. I have said all along that I felt the kid is probably a better fit in a different offense.

Some of you seem to think this is all black and white. When I say there may be "shady" cats hanging around Heritage, Im not saying that the staff is selling players, or that all the kids are asking for money, it could be something as simple as many if not most of the kids have "handlers" who are shady characters and the staff doesnt want to get involved in dealing with many of them. Ive come to believe more and more over the last few years that Shannon did the same thing which is why he stayed away from many of these local programs. Its not the staff itself, its some of the characters around these kids and representing these kids. And even SO, Im not "accusing" anything, simply speculating as to why, and saying its a BIG red flag to me when the staff would not be going around a program like Heritage as much, despite going to other programs plenty.

If it were about money for TV then Clemson and Ole Miss would be in this. Drummond probably gets some kind of kickback, but who knows. There is definitely something off about that guy, regardless of whether TV ends up at LSU or here.

Yes, becuase that will provide fairly solid evidence that he was NOT, in fact, bought by LSU. Hence I would clearly be able to show I was wrong.

If he goes to LSU, its certainly possible he went there without being paid off, I dont discount that, but that's not MY opinion or view. I think there is enough smoke here to HIGHLY suspect something shady is going on. The presence of a notorious street agent, that was booted from SFE for "unethical conduct" who has a beef with UM, and L$U being involved, considering their history in south Florida, yeah, MY view is it smells to high ****. Can I prove it? Nope. You can choose to believe what you want. Put your head in the sand and pretent that $EC programs dont buy elite recruits, especially at positions of need they are desperate at.

when a kid has a final 3 consistent of any of the following out of state schools: LSU, Bama, Aub, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, OU --- then I would think it is very safe to assume there is huge money demands. THose schools are NOTORIOUS (caps for you)for paying top dollar. THey were when my friends were D1 athletes and not much has changed.
