that's what i thought. i don't know what Satan uhhhruhummm, Saban, promised him, but whatever it was, it worked....for the time being. I still think Bo has to think of the log jam at Bama and go by what they first told him vs. what they are trying to tell him now. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment but he could be a surprise, still. I felt that way about TV, but reality has set in that he will be LSU now. Too bad, I hope he doesn't get buried like Keith Bryant did when he flipped to FSU and got no burns.
 
Are people seriously talking sht about NJoku and then throwing Butch as an example? LMFAO. NJoku is exactly the kind of kid Butch would turn into a monster here. Kid has only been playing football for a few years. His coach says he has a high jump of almost 7 feet. Kid played both ways with over 75 tackles on defense in addition to his offensive numbers. Urban Meyer flew out in person to meet with this kid and recruit him. Bama and Oregon were also trying to recruit him.

Some of you need to get a grip. Valentine is what it is. And Bo was nothing but a wet dream last week. That was always a huge long shot. It's disappointing but if you have been following UM recruiting a long time, this is more the norm than the exception.

The rational people on ALL boards tried to tell you all at the beginning how this was going to go. We locked up a lot of our recruits early this year. So there wasn't much territory left to finish with a huge bang. Despite that, we could still finish pretty well and we hit many important needs reasonably well. We got the California fcking PLAYER OF THE YEAR. Stole him right under the Noses of SC and UCLA. Got one of the elite RBs in the nation. A top DT and another pretty **** good one. TWO of the best DEs in the nation. Two top safeties. One of the best OL classes in the nation.

Look. We all want to get everyone, but we aren't there yet as a program. If we win and get better it will get easier. But guess what? Some of out highest rated classes have been our biggest busts historically here. It's finding the RIGHT kids at the RIGHT time that made us great. For all the short comings on this staff, they did uncover some gems this year. I think we did pretty well for a program that ended the season with its toungue hanging out.

I think the mopey ******* are coming now, because they were all hoping on Bo after the monumental fail of Golden to lose Powell, TV and Nigel in one week (thanks to his PSU fling), while not being able to lock down a second RB in a deep RB class in Miami while we have RB depth issues. Bo rumors were keeping them quiet with some hope we could still get the solid 2nd rb, but now that hope is gone and mopers gonna mope. If Golden were more focused on our recruits than the Penn St job, or at least semi focused, that Powell excuse would be gone and he would have had to leave because he flipped, while not being able to say he didn't get admitted fast enough.

Been telling you all the key to this. Expect the worst, hope for the best. I'm not getting my hopes up on JC. Just don't feel great about him.

Gaillard is still a long shot in my book, but we have a shot. Ross is another long shot but could be a surprise too. I also suspect Treon may be a little more realistic than most think.

LOL at "known for a week." It's been 50/50 at best since the day he committed to Miami.

Would have been nice to just get the visit from Bo. Not rustled at all because we were never going to get either, for whatever reason. I'm more rustled about Wyche and guys like Battle, Dowels, McKenzie.

Saban showed Bo 4 minutes of our bowl game and they laughed hysterically over some Chili's Too before driving home from the airport.
 
Hey, on the bright side, supposedly Featherston is on campus. That is a potential HUGE possibility if we can somehow flip that kid.
