It could Be Just Fodder ,But Malachai Fileds was the guy they Expected as WR1.
He still Can Join Miami because he hasn’t enrolled at Notre Dame Yet.

Fields agent is the one who put out feelers this Spring. That's where all this started from. ND also brought in a good possession WR from Wisconsin, but Fields will be their #1. QB CJ Carr is a RD FR, not a TR FR. For those old enough, CJ is the Grandson of former Michigan HC Lloyd Carr. Lloyd coached Michigan to their NC in 97.

Who is Field agent ,is it Drew Rosenhaus ? If he Put Feelers out than there is interest if the money is Right.
