Given NIL is basically an arms race we need to continue to be in the front of the pack of, and that if we continue to have the season we think we will and reload with a top 5 recruiting class the demand for tickets is going to go through the roof, I'd argue we should probably implement the same thing.

TN fans will pay up. They won’t care. They’d take their children’s food money to pay up if it would make them relevant again.

Not sure how the price increase will be 4.5% per seat when the talent fee is 10% per ticket, but sure...whatever you say Brett.

They already announced an estimated 4.5% increase per seat AND they're adding the 10% fee on top of the already announced annual per seat increase.

Considering how they pack that stadium that's serious money. That's NFL money to the walk ons.
It's serious money because of ticket sales, not because they "pack the stadium." Those are not the same thing.

Revenue outside of ticket and parking sales (i.e., gameday concessions and merchandising) is only a small portion (probably 20% maximum) of gameday receipts.

They (UT) have estimated it's going to bring in about $20M annually and depending how revenue sharing is structured it will be spread across all sports. Title IX is broad as to how it's applied to men/womens sports for a revenue share model so still not sure how to navigate the actual split.

Pay mens sports more, as they earn/deserve more of the revenue, and risk lawsuits related to Title IX or pay even across the board, avoid lawsuits, and potentially run the risk of the football team suffering and falling behind.

Currently no federal guidance on the legislation and Title IX refers to 'athletic opportunities' and 'financial aid' - depends if the govt wants to call it financial aid or not. Also, depends on the shady stuff the NCAA is trying to get through right now.
