Right now the plan is it's capped at $22M annually. The benefit for Miami is that NIL won't go away, unless the NCAA gets its way.Miami is at a distinct disadvantage since it must pay rent and share operating revenue to play its football games on private property. State schools and most private schools with an on-campus stadium do not account for such expenses and can allocate a greater percentage of ticket revenue to talent acquisition.
Given NIL is basically an arms race we need to continue to be in the front of the pack of, and that if we continue to have the season we think we will and reload with a top 5 recruiting class the demand for tickets is going to go through the roof, I'd argue we should probably implement the same thing.
I non-ironically and non-sarcastically think the school should get strippers involved at official tailgating events to bring in the crowds on tune up opponents. Add additional cheerleader spots to the band etc.I really thought this thread would be about strippers.
@Baba Yaga missing in action lately…I really thought this thread would be about strippers.
They are not the same thing. But it would still be serious if it were 100k contributing something and the tickets were all the cheapest ones. It's serious money because of ticket sales, not because they "pack the stadium." Those are not the same thing.
Revenue outside of ticket and parking sales (i.e., gameday concessions and merchandising) is only a small portion (probably 20% maximum) of gameday receipts.

I asked someone at work the same thing and he said he was going to counteract the fee by paying for his beer at the stadium in counterfeit $20 bills. Call it evenAre they offering talent refunds for 2008-2021?

20% probably would be a good idea considering how low the tickets are. I don't know how we don't sell out every game. Other than the "it's training in Miami," or, "I have to drive," excuses.I don't see the issue as it serves a great purpose and hopefully allow UT to continue to do what they're doing.
We pay 3rd parties more and don't sneeze. Tickets included. I wish Miami had this already, 20% is what I would do.
I'm not sure that matters in Tennessee.Lmfao they better win
As a fan I have no issues with it. Our tickets are really cheap and I agree. I know how much my fam back in green Bay oats for their season tickets holy smokes man. Serious. LOL. how much is the HC chipping in? If you go down this road you’d better win.As a fan I have no issues with it. Our tickets are really cheap and I agree. I know how much my fam back in green Bay oats for their season tickets holy smokes man. Serious. Our highest donor packages are less
And we wouldnt?TN fans will pay up. They won’t care. They’d take their children’s food money to pay up if it would make them relevant again.
