Interesting to hear the Ryan Day spin, on the local Columbus sports stations. They've gone as far as to say that Day was right up there with Matt Campbell as in demand, new and young, coaches. Honestly I'd never heard much about the guy, until he was hired at taint.

The other interesting spin is the deification of Urban as more than just a great coach, but as a spiritual guy with a strong moral compass. It's not odd to see these fans project their wishes onto their coaches. Anyway, it's mopingville, here in C_Bus, today.

Urban is a great recruiter, and is 2nd to only Saban in terms of success and Championship rings for active coaches. On par with Mike Leach in terms of how good his offense is despite the assistant coachs. I won't excuse Richt for losing 2 recruits in his state to a college hundreds of miles away, but at least it was an elite coach that swiped them away.

We beat the breaks off them with AG without a good coach. *** came the year after and they went undefeated with the same team. Special coach with problems but I'll take it being that we have had problems for 15 years

All true but remember Urb spanked Saban in playoffs with his 3rd string QB. Imo Urban is the only coach Saban really don't want to play.
