I don't know any players but worked for matt rhule at temple and baylor is seen as a great recruiter I don't follow temple/baylor and diaz hired him as co/dc at temple before he took Miami job so clearly connection there

I mean I looked at his classes and he look like a pretty average recruiter for his position, nothing better than Rumph. Not saying we should keep Rumph, but if we get rid of him make sure it's an upgrade.

i heard conflicting. i heard manny might oversee or he might bring someone in with more experience to call plays.
apparently he is not too keen on letting patke or banda call plays on their own. also patke would more likely be the play caller.

he was under richt as was patke but not sure how diaz gonna handle those promotions but the promotions did happen prior to early signing day as I said not sure how diaz gonna handle that

Thats what I’m saying , I don’t think Diaz will honor that promotion .

Stop...WVU is a top 25 job in football. OC at Miami is not more high profile.

WVU is in a weird situation with being in the Big 12.....geographically they are rather an outlier & it's not an ideal situation. On the good side they are the only show in the state & have great fan support.

If Patke were to be the one to call plays (in that scenario he should) I wonder how Banda would feel about that considering he's been with Manny longer and coached longer.
