I put the SMU loss on Dawson . He play calling was horrible . I put both game we lost on Dawson . He takes to long to make adjustments too . It took him into halftime vs Indiana to run off tackle

Under no circumstances should anyone, ever, besides #1 be back to field a punt for this team, save for garbage time.

No, he doesn't need to be out there against FAM.

But when the games matter and/or are in any sliver of doubt, Mali will be the punt returner. Anything else is coaching malpractice. He was 8th in the country last year in punt return average, as a 17 year old. Yeah, he's your punt returner.

I don’t believe ive heard a single podcaster/media member mention meriweathers name. Hopefully when the pads come on we start to hear his name because I thought forsure he would help us this year as a swing at minimum.

Agree,if he came in and was a day 1 starter,I'd be worried.If he can't crack the 2 deep it would be a great sign.I supposed he's battling Cantwell for the 3rd OT spot.

They've been even worse with their development. If anyone can turn Meriweather into a contributor, it will be Mirabal. The fourt freshman (Cantwell, Cogden, Ervin and Pickett) seems to be farther a long than we expected, so I'm curious to see where he ends up in the rotation. It's only been two days, but I'm starting to become less concerned with depth

We had 12 penalties and 2 turnovers

I ain’t caping for Dawson but we played like absolute retards

Counting on a bunch a freshmen o-linemen for depth isn’t the best situation

Cogden and Cantwell will be counted on because they are that good. They drove out two lineman out who will be starting at SEC schools this season, one of which was a drive away from playing in a national championship. Those two in particular would have been in the rotation if they were here in 2024, and the same with 2025
