Cool. Relying on search firms has worked out so well for us in the past.

We all know what search firms really do. Often times nothing more than an expensive buffer between the actual decision makers and complete exposure.

Lake doing a certain factions bidding....read between the lines.... just fyi. he is a good guy but he is 100% wrong on a few key points. we have our AD. people trying to stop it....

So who the fvk is it? Throw it out there. What’s the difference at this point and being coy.

There is a war already that goes beyond the name

I’m sorry but the idea that we need a “search firm” is admitting how incompetent our school is. You really need someone else to google a dudes resume for you?

hiring a search firm sounds professional and like you are doing your due diligence; but they already probably have their minds set on targets. I guess the search firm can also be used to make sure your targets don't have dirt on them

GF doesn’t know when to stop. Then people wonder why me and others were staying out of the stupid threads about his article. I’d be more interested to hear how many gerbils @CFLCane stuffed in his recital cavity last week then reading GF’s article other day. Which worked , he played everyone and won.
You seem to be in a manic state. Dont the let this insider thing eat you up toots. Not everyone is built to stand in the paint.

Coker, Shannon and Diaz were internal promotions, how did that work out?

Miami formed an 'internal search firm' when they fired Randy and wound up deciding between Golden, Marc Trestman and Randy Edsall

I want to say Blake led the charge with Richt but that was delivered to him on a silver platter

Miami hasn't hired a search firm for any major hire that I can remember, so I'm not sure why people are griping about it.

And you seem to be in a romantic state over my nuts. Whats weird is obsessing over a fake persona on the internet and following said dude around yearly trolling him. Does cis have restraining orders for obsessive porsters ? If so I want one on this weirdo. Now hwt back to giving stock . Stock and ****, two things this guy knows.

Search firms do nothing more than point out what is a tree, and what is not.

I'm not sure why you're so obsessed with talking about putting your genitals on guys faces. I only follow one person on this site it isn't you. You're free block me but that won't stop me from laughing at your meltdown.

This post by Lake violates the Golden Rule: “Those who have the Gold make the Rules.”

The notion that Julio Frenk is acting as some sort of Rebel Without A Clause who is going to go out and select someone that the Board Whales might not want is passing strange. The Board Whales are the ones who are bringing in the Deep Pocket Money to juice the Program (as well as the rest of Athletics). The notion that Fenk would ignore them is borderline laughable.

Chaos brings opportunity. Frenk is never more powerful than when there is a split board.

IIRC, they used Korn Ferry for the Shannon, Golden, and Richt searches. It's probably just standard operating procedure but my point stands that it generally hasn't helped. Richt wasn't a bad hire but he kind of fell in their lap.
