I don’t think they waited that long. I think they were in place right after Blake was fired. Probably couldn’t start it before he was fired because that kind of thing is hard to keep secret.

Ah. Perhaps. But it certainly explains the "Mirabal on Twitter Space" thing, which was actually happening. And I definitely thought it was Mario listening in on Mirabal's account...

I don’t even know if that was actually Mirabal. I haven’t seen it, and one would have to follow up and make sure that was his legit account, people can name themselves anything. I’m just saying.

This is a fog of war situation where there’s a lot of stupid information that’s false, being peddled as true. So unless I can see something that confirms it for me, or it comes from people that have a track record in the past, I’m a skeptic.

But anyway this thing about being in the van, driving all that distance from Salt Lake City or wherever, which is what was actually said, is pure nonsense, you can sneak into town without people knowing. That whole story looks made up.
 
This is pure soap opera gold right now but there seems to be some sense to it.
Frenk doesn’t know much about football and he let what was in place run it’s course cause it didn’t seem broken. And given the importance of football to he program at a school like Miami Blake must be good at his job.

Fast forward to his school being put on blast about being cheap and not caring despite all the money being put in place and he decides to put his muscle from U health in on the operation.

His team does some reconnaissance and it reveals:

He then proceeded to listen to the advice of Zo and the rest of the cane gang. But understands that he must bypass the bickering ***** billionaires of the bot and hire a firm to insure that the cane gang just aren’t hiring they’re boys.
The BoT loses their collective sht and start falling back on their political allies to stop Frenk.

The fan base goes straight gangster and calls them out.

Frenk notices that his BOt is so ****ed off that they are Intentionally trying to sabotage the hiring process. That he sends David Lake out there to set the record straight!!

Rumor is that Frenk sat with the bot and sent a clear message about their input considering the bull**** that’s gone in for 20 years

Meanwhile the team and the recruits are left trying to figure out what’s gonna happen when spring workouts begin.
The fanbase is scared shtless cause this dude wants another chance

He has to be doing it knowing there is at least a faction of the BOT that will support him and he is choosing the side he thinks will ultimately win out and keep him as Pres.

I hope Frenk is a killer behind the scenes. He must be pretty ruthless to become a University president. That doesn’t happen by mistake.

I think Herbstreit on game day struck a nerve. If I remember correctly, he called Frenk out. I’ll be honest, it seems like Frenk is leading the charge in changing the program and it is not something I ever expected.

That account is 100% Mirabal's. Tons of followers and interactions with verified coaching accounts/recruits.

Whether or not there is a fight going on, the school was rightfully taken to task for not having controls/processes in place for the last hire and multiple other occasions. It would be nuts of them NOT to at least act in a way that indicates an objective process is happening.

Unless you're Joe Echevarria or Rudy Fernandez, or in their immediate circle, I'd guess we've simply gotten a ton of 2nd and 4th hand information.

Let it unfold. This will be a basic litmus test: will the school hire a Jurich-like, independent-minded AD, or not? If yes, proceed to the next step of possible seriousness. If not, whatever happens and whoever is hired, it's safer to operate with skepticism.

I think the argument against is that the new AD should at least be given time to evaluate staff before he makes any firings. But this doesn't rule out Zo being the assassin given authority as "head of football ops" from doing it. He has been "in the building" long enough to have made proper evals. I think he may actually be the first hired announcement on the docket before AD is announced.
