U Health. What do you think are the biggest reason for these numbers?
$350,000,000 in additional revenue through the hospital system
$250,000,000 less expenses in "Compensation and Benefits"
What do you think are the biggest reason for these numbers?
My screwup, I transposed the years. It was an increase, which is expected as the hospital system grew.So cutting employee salaries and benefits? Is that correct or is it something else like cutting redundant positions, trimming administrative fat etc?
Last step — get the **** out of the ACC.I wonder who ran that extremely profitable health system?!?!?
I have to say after 20 absolutely brutal years we now have:
- an undefeated football team that everyone loves to hate.
- a head coach that has passion for this university, a genuine hatred of those other programs in this state, knows what he’s doing and has the Saban blueprint which allows him to build a program the right way
- a ton of recruiting momentum…. Watch the finish
- drawing a ton of big numbers tv wise - have to think this is good for realignment for us
- complete alignment as a university when it comes to athletics and their importance in driving revenue and applicants
- a university president that is extremely business savvy and also loves this university someone that isn’t some snooty academic who doesn’t understand the current landscape of how education and athletics intertwine
I think the coming years are going to be some of the best for the university. I’m pumped
Im with ya, but from a pure championship run standpoint, the path from the ACC is definitely lower hanging fruit. From a monetary perspective you can’t get left out of the SEC or BIG but man those guys just all beat up on one anotherLast step — get the **** out of the ACC.
It sucks but we have no other option. CFB is headed towards a major and minor league. Anyone not in the Big 10 or SEC will be relegated. We can’t be on the outside looking in.Im with ya, but from a pure championship run standpoint, the path from the ACC is definitely lower hanging fruit.
