Ohio Football: Reaction to Black Jerseys: http://youtu.be/hAOfNEBZbE4
Green... with the smoke helmet
I don't give a fart about what anyone here thinks, including myself. I want to see what the players and more importantly, the recruits think. That's all that matters.

Yup.
If donning a black uniform or whatever else we throw out there gives these guys some extra juice before they hit the field, well then I am all for it. The **** does add a little bit of an edge
I came in here to post that...

100% agree with the recruiting aspect
in regards to guys getting jacked up...i used to completely by into that notion, until the vtech game last yr...it really doesnt need any further detail other than we heard all week how excited guys were to play in the new unis, and it was an absolute embarrassment. i think guys should have had scholllies revoked at halftime and forced to earn them back.
that game made me realize...if a football player isnt fully jacked up before every single game...thats a failure of the coaches, the leaders, and the individual players...these guys should be proud to play for the U and all they should really need as motivation is to put on for those that came before and to set an example for those that will come after. i feel like michael irvin's speech should be shown in a loop in our locker room at all times, he literally defined what it is to play for miami in that speech...before a friggin spring game or spring practice (cant remember which) for crying out loud...a guy that had been retired for like 8 yrs was that jacked in the spring, and we got guys who cant get up to slam duke...smdh.

Well we did come out in the VT game and smack them right in the mouth.
Not saying a jersey color will win a game, just saying if simply changing a jersey can give a bit of an edge, however brief, well I don't see what the issue is.
As far as your final paragraph, I agree completely though it is up to the players as well. Unfortunately the last few years we are trying to pump up guys that just weren't capable of getting it done, despite most of them giving 1,000%.
