I like both of those helmets but I gotta go with option 1. I still want to see that U stand out.

I'm a bit of a traditionalist but I'm actually getting excited to see these unis, even though I know they will be a little outlandish.

I love the old jerseys from our past but part of what annoyed me about going right to the Stormtroopers for instance, was that neither our coach nor this team has really earned that right to wear them IMO. Moreso Golden. I appreciate his respect for our past and our roots but at the same time it bothered me to see him try and veil on field stuff by blindly grasping at our past.

Don't know if that makes any sense to anyone else, but I don't really give a ****.

Shelve the "stormtroopers" IMO, That's a clear case of the fans and maybe players liking something for style purposes, Miami's never really played that well in them so I'm not sure where the mystique came from?

They took the mystique out of it by wearing it for pretty much every road game.
 
I can't wait to see us in green again and also would like to see all whites maybe 2 times a season and orange pants 2 times a season on the road. The green IMO is awesome. I want shiny pants again!!

If they look nice wear em...why the **** do we have to worry about mystique or if we played ****** in a new kit. It has no bearing other than getting the players fired up (is that a bad thing?).

I'm all for black, smoke, stormtroopers...if the kids like em then bring em on.

All black, and we will have to have legions of EMT's with IV's ready on our sidelines.

This is not the Pacific Northwest.

This is Miami. I was raised in Miami and moved to Colorado in 2001, but I still remember the heat, humidity and Jurrasic period Mosquitos.
I remember playing sports for 10 hours a day in the early 80's and having to take salt tablets so I wouldn't pass out.

I couldn't even imagine how unbearable it would be playing in an all black uniform at 2 pm in September.

Try walking out of the airport at 2 AM and hitting that solid wall of humidity.
It will knock you back a couple feet.

they might have an all black option but it will be just one of a few alternatives and like others said it would only be worn at night. so for anyone fearing orange and green will somehow not be used anymore, have no fear.
 
How bout we just return to beating the sh*t outa teams and never mind what we're wearing. Holy crap.


/but, I like the black unis.

If we blacked out FSU in November in prime time, everyone will go absolutely ape ****. Myself included. In.

05 at VT will be one of my fondest memories in the stormtrooper look. its a great look but u can't do it every game like we did for the most part.
