Holding one coach to the timeline of another based on race is racist.

Golden should be fired because the team finished 6-7 and is getting worse not because Randy was fired after 4 years.

You aren't kidding. The only color other than white that they embrace is green. The only reason most of them hire an occasional minority is to comply with the law.

There is no doubt in my mind that if Al was a minority (other than being a fat ******), UM would have already kicked him to the curb.

I agree that poor performance is why he should be fired. However if a black coach was in this exact spot I can't help but think he would be fired. Head in the sand if you don't think so. The fact that Golden talks well and fits the mold compared to radio is a factor.
 
If ESPN gets a hold of this and brings up Shannon's record v/s Golden's record look out...I can see Kornheiser and Wilbon debating this right now on PTI. If this goes to the media Miami administration will be in a very very tough spot. We an only hope.. This is the card to play if we want AL gone.

You don't think the fact that Golden had to deal with NCAA **** that occurred on Randy's watch separates the two at all? Going into the season, like it or not, everyone knew Golden would get more time than Randy due to the contract and the NCAA. But now it is all race on this one?

100%. i am very active in politics. alot of white conservatives are more out of touch with black americans. liberals look at them like pawns, like people who need to be reliant on them because they are too dumb to think for themselves. I once seen a very well known white democrat who is considered a friend to african americans drop the n-word and make fun of how stupid blacks are but all he had to do is accuse his republican opponent of being racist and he would gets them all out to vote.

look at the media down in miami. they made randy shannon into an angry black man because he wasnt good at media. meanwhile a lying hypocrite and conniver like golden is praised as a good guy. smh

I don't think you understand the premise. Let me explain.

The UM admin immediately fired Randy Shannon after a 28-22 record.

Al Golden, however, is praised, defended, and retained with the same EXACT record. The only difference is that Al, the white man, is perceived by the BOT as better, without any legit reason other than they implicitly trust him.

What lessons are you talking about? They haven't learned ****, hiring three unqualified coaches in a row, and extending each one of them without having earned it. Randy would still be here if he were white.

I know why Luke is doing this, too.

He can see the handwriting on the wall and knows that most of the fans want Butch. But maybe he thinks Ice Harris should get a shot. After all, Harris built Booker T.
