Uncle luke canceling fsu

Does the black delegation use the same group from the racial draft or do they have a new committee now lead by Luke?

So Luke stopped being a Miami guy because we fired Shannon. He stopped being a Nole guy because they fired Taggart. If he becomes a UF guy, is the lesson learned to never hire an African American coach?

So, the black community apparently has a committee that is going to limit the options for furthering the education and athletic possibilities in state for their youth?
You can’t make up the level of self destruction.
Getting f*cked over, playing for a billion dollar corporation that's using them to profit. The community doesn't give a f*ck about universities that doesn't hire coaches that KNOWS the kids and have relationships with them.

And you wonder why coaches/parents see through coaches bull**** when they walk into the homes of these young men, who has NO TIES to the community.

It really is unbelievable, after reading these comments, I convinced they would pay “uncle luke” to service them.
it’s pathetic.. Luke Campbell can go and **** himself. I’ll be a much happier kid when that dirt bag is gone and buried. He’s done nothing but disparage and work against this team and University for 30+ years! Guess his “pro agency” is not working out to well( his wife’s mouth must have gotten tired)
I’m just surprised he’s not dead yet. Though I’n confident he will be soon, and I’ll be one to celebrate his demise.
It’s really not that serious. Luke although respected by many in the community (I guess for his philanthropic efforts) is like a CIS poster with a bigger platform. He can’t dictate where kids go. Kids will go to the best opportunity. Whether it’s Miami or anywhere else. Look at Dalvin Cook, he was initially committed to UF, they only win 4 games then he heads to FSU after they win a natty. Kids will go wherever they perceive the best opportunity lies. No need wishing death on Luke. He doesn’t have that type of pull.

What you fail to realize, ignore, or think it's just fine is that Luke is referring to is the lack of minority coaches hired from the football recruiting meccas.
For decades college football coaching had been a an "old boys club" of white men who never gave minority coaches an opportunity despite fillng their rosters with the best athletes who are primarily black.

Some minority HS coaches are hired as tokens to recruit fertile minority communities. Although it may be tokenism, the opportunity allows the coaches to show what they can do and accel as a coach not just a recruiter. We would not have the minority coaches in the NFL, College Football, or any other sport unless an opportunity is given. Minority coaches just want the same opportunity to succeed or fail as their white counterparts.

This goes all the way back to the days where the perception was that the "black athlete" wasn't smart enough to play QB or coach. For decades kids that were star QBs in HS were converted to WR. When they finally broke thru there was no opportunity at the next level at QB. Not until Doug Williams won a Super Bowl did the opportunities start to trickle in. Warren Moon spent several years in the CFL winning multiple Grey Cups before getting an opportunity in the NFL despite being one of the top QBs in college football. If not for these trail blazers there would be no DeShaun Watson or Lamar Jackson in the NFL. At least not at QB. This in sports or in any other career is what is known as the "glass ceiling." The fact is that minority coaches are not given the same opportunity to succeed or fail as their white counterparts.

So, evidently what Luke and these HS coaches have decided to do is band together and leverage the power that they have. What he's saying is that you're not going to continue to pluck the best football players from Dade without hiring minority coaches and perhaps the HS coaches from Dade. Sure. There will be kids that choose schools their coaches don't want them to attend, but these coaches will steer kids elsewhere and talk to their parents about why he should or shouldn't attend a particular school. Many parents want their kids to be mentored into men when they go off to college. The parents want coaches on the staff that can relate and understand the issues their son may face.

Think about it, Luke and these coaches have known and coached these kids from pee wee football thru high school. They have molded these kids into the top recruits that they are. Shouldn't some of these coaches be given an opportunity at the next level?

Just like the Miami Hurricanes after ohio state scam artists beat them in the fiesta bowl. I guess kids are to lazy to look up. They started saying thee/ohio state bull crappers after they beat a drunk & hi miami team.

Clinton Portis had a interview after he retired; He took shots of henny as a pre-game and halftime ritual in college & the nfl. & when the redskins had Santana Moss, Sean Taylor, Clinton Portis.. They'd continue the tradition.
