This says it all. He knows.

We all get humbled at some point in our lives, and it’s sad to see it all happen to Manny in the public eye. You’re seeing a once proud, arrogant man have his entire world turned upside down as he comes to grip with the fact that all of his valiant efforts have resulted in futility.

Learn from this and be better for it, Manny.

And please resign, tomorrow morning.

At least Golden had the decency to blame himself all the time, whether he meant it or not. Manny wants to throw out a bunch of sob stories about how courageous the team is and how proud he is of everyone, completely glossing over the fact that we lost and his defense gave up 45 points.
Golden regularly threw players under the bus . That was his goto move. What are you talking about?

How about Manny teaching his team to tackle? That should have happened before the season even started. Basic fundamentals of the game need to be taught.

Also, quit with all the Coachspeak about his sophisticated defensive schemes and what they are designed to do. FACT: on virtually every play, every player in the front seven is either out of position, brushed aside too easily or just completely out of position to make a play.

As sad as it is to say this (cuz we Miami), If the DL is not going to get to the QB anyway then don't have them rush upfield and out of the play every single time. Focus on gap integrity and DL making tackles and plays around the line of scrimmage. There are huge gaping running lanes opening up on every single defensive snap. Stop running your DL out of the play because they ain't getting home anyway. Also, simplify the scheme and keep the LB in position (essentially spread out in the center of the field of play) and have them see ball, get ball. The LBs don't even seem lost but rather completely non-existent. Keep them in the same basic formations and have them practice tackling.

Wish it would have worked. seems like a decent dude, and the type of dude I’d like to see work out. It isn’t working. Fire him and start back channeling now to spin the hiring wheel again and hopefully save some of the recruiting class.

Pride ( selfishness) caused our fall 😡

Focus on PASSION love sacrifice for each other THAT’S what we’ve LOST .

I saw PASSION on the field NOT EXALTING themselves but fighting FOR EACH OTHER “ PASSION “.

You cannot be exalted until you exalt others FIRST.

...starts with prideful people supporting prideful coaches who hire unqualified friends, and then distribute playing-time for reasons not based on merit. When people realize their job security is not based on their performance, pleasing supervisors takes priority over performance, and you lose the ability to compete with organizations or programs that have a result-oriented internal environment.

Games like these may be the best situation for us overall. Manny will not survive the record as that is ultimately how he is judged, and our team shows resilience which should cause growth beneath a competent coach in the future and recruits see that we are pieces away from winning most of these ACC games, so perhaps the entire recruiting class doesn’t fall apart with a piece of continuity on each side of the ball when we have a coaching change.

We could be 4-2 right now but Manny cannot use the same excuse to save his job as bowls don’t care how close you are to winning your losses. 3 more losses and we are ineligible for a bowl (and two of those are going to happen in the next two weeks).

Getting blown out gets the job done (see ya Manny) but also makes the team look massively incompetent and is completely unattractive to anyone on the outside. I can appreciate that the administration is completely screwed up in their lack of action, but Manny is doing a great job of digging his own grave.

(One caveat - what’s it going to take to come out in the first two quarters and actually look like a college football team instead of Rick Moranis’ Little Giants?)
