UM student newspaper adds to pressure on Golden

Let's be real here....

Although the author gets some credit for bucking the trend on a campus full of morons spewing the company/communist line, the piece very easy could have just been called "Some People Unhappy With Golden". All it was is some basic reportage about the discontent about the staff. The author didn't put herself "out there" in any manner and it wasn't even as biting an indictment as it could have been even by just sticking to the facts and conveying the opinions of others. It's actually more an indictment on this entire atmosphere that something like this is even refreshing to us let alone being celebrated as some bad *** taking down of Alfredo.

I'm thinking if one peruses that pages of that rag (that usually isn't even on par with a decent high school newspaper) that you'll find MUCH stronger opinions conveyed weekly by some of the dorks on that staff about social issues. Just wait until the fluff pieces of propaganda come out when The Midget Troll Queen bids farewell.

Again, good for this girl for at least acknowledging reality and possibly getting some sideways glances from some of Donna's junior socialists but let's not pretend like this was more than it was.

Don't want to tell you what to do but if Erika is counter interviewing you, which would be the 4th installment in the battle with the admin from A. J. to Erika to Courtney back to Erika, you can disprove all the party line garbage in one fell swoop. Just boil it down to Courtney is wrong in every premise. This could really spin forward.

I read Courtney's articles after I answered the questions. My answers were about what happened and how I felt about it, and why I took the signs. The last question was what I wanted to see. Hopefully the quotes I gave are there. I was respectful and to the point.

Good on Erika. Someone that has balls. It wasn't as scathing as it could have been but since the school hates freedom of speech this could be considered baby steps.
 
I like the picture of Shalala holding a big *** head of shalala sign at the sign where "signs are banned for safety and blah blah".

If Erika is half the soldier I think she is, she'll blow Courtney's article to smithereens.
 
Have to disagree with Tad Footeball on Erika. Having been a student journalist way back, I know the typical young person has to fight the tremendous peer pressure to go along to get along. She got a cover out of it too, which is probably even more valuable in this visual world.

Yeah, had to skewer coaching expert Courtney; All the reasoning why Blake James' shouldn't fire Golden goes out the window when it is brought up that James fired the Women's Soccer Coach in 2013. Yeah, Yeah, no buy out there, but Fiorini doesn't mention the buy out (Elephant in the room), so the comparision is fair game.

Glad to see UMiami will be known for providing the next generation of Jen Psakis and Maria Harfs:canes2:

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH. OMFG at the bottom of the article there is a link to "Read the counter argument by Max Sanchez here". When you click on the link it takes you a page not found 404 error.

Someone else please confirm that it's not just my computer giving me the page not found.
