Let me know when the refs are afraid to go 8 plays without calling holding instead of 8 games. Then we are talking about enough. Plus, when the players look like they would rather go to the other sideline after a bad play than face him will be a milestone. The great coaches were feared.
Guy we’ve talked about this plenty already. He can’t give the job to anyone that isn’t Rosier just yet. He’s been praising Williams plenty and has said that the job is open for anyone to take it from Rosier. Many posters here have agreed(me included) that if CMR gives the job to Jarren right now it would cause the other QBs to want to transfer. So stop with your crying and wait until he announces the winner which will probably be Jarren Williams.Richt is getting paid a sh*t ton of money- even more now after the contract extension. Every Cane fan who watched last season knows that Rosier isn't winning a national championship next year. He simply doesn't have the ceiling. As I said in another thread, it took two miracle catches to avoid 8-5, and Rosier admitted to checking out at the end of the season with a perfect record on the line- and this is our best chance to win? Come on, man. Williams might suck, but he also might be a phenom who carries the team to an ACC Championship. Rosier is just too inconsistent to play championship level football- we all know it, but apparently Richt doesn't or thinks he knows better. Maybe he is right, and worth all that money. If he's wrong (and I personally think he will be proven wrong if Rosier and Williams are close and he gives the tie to Rosier because of "experience"), then all the criticism of him is warranted.

I was a dawg back in da day. Last week was at the gym wearing a Georgia shirt and a Miami lid. Dude saw me and said Miami has a good man and coach in Richt. After getting swoll, my son and I went straight to a restaurant and another dude saw me and said the same thing. Like dayjavoo or something.
Most Georgia fans feel like it was time to move on from Richt, as did I, but feel like he is a good coach and will do a good job at Miami. Richt a lot betta than the last few coaches at Miami.
We had no other option but Rosier!!! CMR wanted Rosier to believe he was better than he was so he went in Barney Style with Rosier. Why??? Because Nkosi didn’t understand ****, Weldon was suspended and that overgrown fa’ggot (which I won’t mention) that transferred was worse than Rosier unfortunately! He was tall and couldn’t throw over the D-line, kept getting his passes batted down! Props to CMR and Staff for winning as many games. Foh sherryWish he would have shown that fire with his qb for ****ting the bed 3qtrs of most games.
What exactly did #12 accomplish last season, a coastal title. Do they hand out a trophy for winning half a conf? He is a deadbeat qb that wouldn't even be in the discussion at another P5 school. The sacrifice is starting him and impeding the progress of this team now and in the future. A qb that was already limited and did nothing but regress as the season went gives us the best chance to win is crazy. CMR may choose #12 as the starter but that doesn't mean it was the right decision. Playing it safe doesn't win ships. CMR clearly is more concerned about knowledge of the playbook than actual execution of the play. Anyone but #12, he can transfer if he wants, see ya.I'm not in the sacrifice the year to give a young qb experience camp. Best qb(experienced factored in), should play. People wanted to sacrifice Malik last year to develop Nkosi, now this year sacrifice Malik and NKosi for Jarren. If we get MJJ it'll be time to send Jarren packing to develop MJJ. Its just not the way to foster healthy competition.
Kid who give us the best chance to win should start. Period. And the fans should support that guy. Period.
Stopped reading after line one. Richt is the 21st highest paid coach and his team finished 13th.
That was game 11, he stunk most of the seasonYou mean like when he pulled him out of the game?
Anybody know the story behind Richt and Fedora in that gif on page 1? I was at the game and didn't see that on TV.
I do know Richt publicly said he was suspicious of UNC reading our play calls. This was the first time I ever saw Miami sidelines put up a screen during play calling. I don't know what tipped off Richt, but he's been doing this too long to be wrong about that. Mark Richt doesn't cry wolf that often...
Like I said before, the harsh reality is we got the best bang for a buck with Richt. If we ever decide to pony up more $ for a coach then we can have these types of discussions. But if it weren't for Richt, we'd be back with a ****** Schiano type coach.
I'm all in on Richt and hope he can get us over the hurdle... at least were relevant again and will be a more attractive coaching destination in the future.

Richt Can recruit as well as any coach out there. He’s up against a program who for the last 15 years has sucked and he must realize he is not an OC and hire someone who is very good at it
Smart had the deepest, most experienced UGA team they've had in God knows how long and somehow managed to barely squeak by a Notre Dame team we dominated, get blown out by a Auburn, then choke away the National Championship game to a true freshman.
UGA fans should be more worried about the 7 for $50 mil Kirby just did to them and stop thinking about what Richt supposedly did to them 10 years ago.
Last year is way different than this year. And Jarren is way more advanced than Nkosi was last year and unfortunately this year as well. Malik was the only option we had cause Nokia didn’t know anything about being a Qb or how to read the defense, just terrible. But Jarren Williams even when he makes the wrong read he delivers the ball with pin point accuracy which Malik will never possess no matter how long he works on it.I'm not in the sacrifice the year to give a young qb experience camp. Uga has always stacked the rb position especially under richt it’s nothing new. The receiver postion and skill talent at uga outside of running back is still lacking. And the secondary and dline isn’t that impressive eitherSmart is following up with 5 star national players stacking at very position especially qb and rb. With Smarts heritage and smarts they are the new Alabama. Hopefully CMR can break out of his rut of 9 wins in a good way, but he is very stubborn so I do not expect it. But he is the most honorable man in college football so it is a good tradeoff.
My youngest son worked out in hs with Kirby while his dad was the coach at Rabun County. I've followed CMR since he went to UGa. My favorite game is the Orange bowl with Larry Rakestraw outdueling George Mira.
