UGA vs OU game thread

OU always ****s the bed in big games. If I didn’t know better I’d swear Big Game Bob was still on the sidelines. Can never win the big one.

If UGA wins people on here will be like "Kirby is doing it with Richt's players" but think about what your saying. Your basically saying Kirby can win with Richt players with means Richt can't win with Richt players.

Not only that but I never seen a Georgia team this dominate. Georgia just pushed a Alabama esque move. Make you think they are going to get embarrassed but they take about a QTR to comeback because they dominate the trenches and they stop being flashy.

Didn’t realize we had so many UGA football experts on a Canes forum.

Dawginsight.com or SECinsight.com.........

Top end SEC teams focus their recruiting heavy on DL and DBs and focus on the run game. If you want to compete in CFB, you need to do the same. When you do that, its ok for you to say "SEC-like"...those that get butthurt about the easy phrasing just don't get it. Its what wins in college football...as you can see, and you could see in Miami's last two games. Teams with strong defensive YPA with good front sevens that run the football.

Its like ya'll don't watch even the 'Canes, nevermind the rest of CFB.

Boys, you are seeing SEC football right now. We might just have an all SEC final.

There's that SEC slurper mentality. Guess we'll just ignore that Clemson's got the best d-line in the nation where every single upper classmen is slated to go in the 1st round.

Clemson is built like a top SEC school by a former Alabama boy.

Right, Mr. Finebaum. The only explanation for a non-SEC team winning a title is that they are "SEC-like".

Fact is 2 SEC teams are in the final 4 and at least 1 appears heading for the title. Clemson might as well be SEC, they are built like one.

One could make the argument that Ohio St. should've gone in over Alabama (considering they didn't even win their division).

Just because a team puts a heavy emphasis on trench play, doesn't make them an "SEC" team.

FSU had a team similar to Clemson's back in 2013. I guess they were built like an "SEC" team. Guess all of the titles Miami won in its history, they were built like an "SEC" team.

Pete's going to have to take a long look at some of his mods. He has one writer tweeting gator emojis to one UF player, and then saying "Congrats bro!" to another player that just spurned Miami for Bama at the last minute. Now he's got another one saying that only winning teams are built like SEC teams.

Fooking pathetic analysis.

Lol what's you guy's opinion on this flashy offense now, they emptied everything they had early and now Georgia has adjusted

knew this game wasnt over, those big12 teams dont play defense only the big boys play defense like this. This is why when u hear a podcast and coach duaso says sec look different its true, they have big lengthy guys that can run and there dominant in the trenches. Big 12 teams arent built like that not even pac 12 those teams look soft and play soft.

OSU should of gotten in over Bama, they have to make conference titles mean something. The system is so fuqed up, I dont care if bama is better win your conference.

It's pathetic when you constantly mention SEC teams doing it. Guess what? They weren't the first teams to have dominant D-line play. I know, it can be a hard concept to grasp. I guess if Clemson wins the title this year, it should really count as another for the SEC then. They apparently invented college football.

Oklahoma defense is hot garbage and will probably lose Oklahoma the game.

not today!!!!!

Every run for Georgia is like 9 yards. Georgia was at the 2 yard line obvious run and they get a 40 yard run. If Oklahoma offense goes cold game is over. Lucky enough Oklahoma plays in the Big 12 where if you don't score almost every possession you lose.

you right chosen but lets see the ending though okie seems done

Yep. Hard for me to take Bama seriously right now considering they got whipped by Auburn who won that division over them. I could understand a team making it into the Final 4 if they don't win their conference. Not even winning your division though, fck that.

this is the stupid sh*t i talk about. What the **** is built like an sec team...You finnebaums act like clemson is built like vandy or uk. What does that even mean?. Was Mizzou built like one when they won it all...how bout osu?...FSU?. iM GUESSING OUR 2001 SQUAD was almost sec like huh?. Lol. 2 sec teams are in because of politics..Bama shouldnt have made it but hey it is what it is

When we still aren't competing for championships in 2-3 years because we have recruiting classes over two years filled with one 4* and one 3* defensive tackles and three 3* linebackers and we continue to run the ball 35 times per game...who is the GenPop of this forum going to blame?

The QB again?

people call it sec because they have been doing it the past 10 years so it became a "oh they look like an sec team" if they become the pac12 in the next 10 years no one will say sec team anymore. Things always change

I'm not an expect or guru but are you watching the game? I call it how I see it. UGA NEVER Looked this dominate under Richt even the year they should of went to the championship in 2012. Yes, Richt handed most of the players UGA has right now but Kirby has them in the playoffs while Richt had Richt players and went to the Belk Bowl and the TaxSlayer bowl his last 2 years at UGA with a lot of these SAME players.
