UGA vs OU game thread

This game is a roller coaster. Couldn't ask for a better game right now even those Georgia is dominated the trenches.

Again. The difference in the game is the free 3 points OU gave Georgia.

IM STILL PUZZLED TO THAT DECISION. That was Randy Shannon like

funny you mentioned that, makes me think of the 09 clemson game where randy didnt do the squib kick before half and ended up giving up a kick return and went on to lose in overtime. remember mark whipple calling him a dumb *** on the sidelines. I see what the oklahoma coach was trying to do those squib kicks can backfire though sometimes

Kick the ball out of the endzone. I was specifically going to that..when randy kicked to Spiller

Michel did everything right to, ball up tucked out the outside arm too. He put the helmet on that one

If UGA wins people on here will be like "Kirby is doing it with Richt's players" but think about what your saying. Your basically saying Kirby can win with Richt players with means Richt can't win with Richt players.

Not only that but I never seen a Georgia team this dominate. Georgia just pushed a Alabama esque move. Make you think they are going to get embarrassed but they take about a QTR to comeback because they dominate the trenches and they stop being flashy.

dominant*

And you can't judge a guy like that. I can't imagine what you'd be saying about Jimmy Johnson in his second year right now. Chill out

I'm not judging Richt or saying he is bad. I'm tired of the constant "Kirby is winning with Richt players" when Richt is here because he couldn't win with his players at UGA.

It makes sense u cant say hes winning with MR players but then if Kirby wins he looks bad either which way

Yeah that doesn't make any sense. I have no idea what he's saying.

Ya'll get so defensive over the nomenclature, ya'll miss the point.

You even throw out Clemson and FSU, yet those two teams are run by former SEC guys. Ohio State, too. Instead of getting uptight over the term SEC-like, understand that it simply means high end DL talent, high end DB talent, focus on the run game. We aren't talking about what Miami won with 16 years ago. Different era of football. We're talking about this era and at the top, its dominated by teams that are competing with one another for DL talent, DB talent, and the run game. Alabama, LSU, Florida, Auburn dominated college football at certain periods with that model over the past decade. Georgia was a perennial Top 10 team.

An SEC team OR a team that is coached by a former SEC coach with the same emphasis have been winning in college football for the past TWELVE YEARS.

Stop getting defensive over a standard of an era. It was us in the 80s and early 90s...but its not anymore. Its not unique to the SEC or teams that try and do the same thing but its what they are doing right now and they are setting the pace.

We cal fall in line and compete or try and do our own thing, I guess. idk, I'd rather we go recruit and sign a ton of 5* and 4* DL and run the ball 41 times...if you'd like to keep recruiting some three stars and run the ball 35 times, cool, I guess.

If you can’t say Kirby is only winning because of Richt players, then you can’t say Coker only won because of Butch players. See how that works.
