So ugasports.com is reporting that his MOTHER was also arrested. She was in another car when the incident happened, she was trying to block the police from getting her son’s car, he got away and they did get her. She was arrested and charged with speeding (over 100mph in a 25mph area in Commerce, GA, btw), obstruction, fleeing, and some other traffic violations (running a stop sign twice was one of them).

Also, when Nyier Daniels was later arrested, he was driven to the station by one of UGA’s coaches and turned into the police.
