Kirby smart has a thing for Arkansas offensive coordinators... I assume he wants the wisky/Arky style. His first choice for OC was the current Arkansas OC. That OC had a no-compete clause for SEC teams so Kirby didn't get him. Now, he takes the Pitt OC who was the OC under bielma for two years

Dan Enos would have been a much better hire. He improved their passing game a lot from Chaney. Not sure how their AD got Enos to sign that clause

Yep.
He wants the Alabama/Wisc/Arkansas approach to offense which is run the ball heavily to set up the pass.
Don't forget that Chaney also worked for Kiffin at Tennessee.
Chaney has been around spread-like offenses though, as he worked for Tiller at Purdue.

May say something about our future staff.

Georgia: Sources confirmed to us Pitt offensive coordinator Jim Chaney will be the
offensive coordinator at Georgia. Sources also now have confirmed Arkansas offensive line
coach Sam Pittman will join him at Georgia.

Wow, Pitt oc? I'm sure that has Eason super excited

Is probably Florida bound.

Yep.
Eason has uf**** written all over him.

I was reading more about him and his philosophies...He used to be apart of the basketball on grass movement but switched his position. He said he found a new appreciation for the pro offense after working with the Rams. I assume Bielma pushed him out so that's why he took the Pitt OC job. If the Eason family does their research (and not just listen to Chaney say "look at my work at Purdue!!") I can't see him going there

S. Car fans think Muschamp wants to bring in Rocker, but Rocker's family wants him to stay in Athens.

Pitt "co-OC" too. Not sure if he even handled playcalling for Narduzzi.

UGA fans hate the hire. We up.

Besides, look at the guy. Who would want to play for a fat guy like that?

Also, based on what I read on the UGA board, Sherrer is staying at UGA as DC.

Thank goodness for other boards because the media folks who cover UM athletics are lazy and
incompetent.

I'm thinking Richt has to atleast have a verbal with someone. Can't sit back and get left holding the bag
