The Silva fight was a passing of the baton, Adesanya literally started fighting because of Silva he idolized him & looked up to him as a child.

He wasn't trying to kill'em, it was a showcase of the old era vs the new & if you're fan of true martial arts not just brute gladiator style fighting then the Silva fight was actually very entertaining. They both showed high level skills.

But the kid also has charisma & is a great star for the sport, he knows how to sell a fight, he's a great talker & isn't a typical meathead dummy, he's everything that Jon was supposed to be before he became hated by everyone lol.

The only thing that made it a great 5th round, though, is Adesanya's lack of knockout power....He hit Kelvin flush several times in that fight and couldn't get him out of there...Besides lack of experience on the ground, lack of one punch knockout power seems to be the biggest holes in Stylebender's game....

But, was a fantastic fight...if the rest of the card so far undelivered....Gastelum vs Adesanyo more than made up for it....

Yeah he busted him open pretty **** bad, but Max is arguably the toughest fighter in the UFC, he will not let that stop him this round.

He needs a KO in order to win though, if he doesn't drop Poirier it's over & Diamond Dustin is the new interim Lightweight champ.

Yeah Dustin definitely won this one, Holloway made slight comeback but then that flying knee split his sh*t & put the fight out of reach for Max. That reminded somewhat of the Michael Venom Page knee that cracked Cyborg Santos's skull.

**** of fight by Dustin Poirier, can't wait to see him fight Ferguson or Khabibi, that 155lbs division has about 3 potential mega fights for the rest of the year.

Great fight. Expected nothing less from those two. Both are great great fighters. Love MMA fights like this.

Ferguson needs to get his head right before he fights anyone. Dude thinks there was a tracking chip planted in his leg during his knee surgery. It's a shame too because he has is a tough fight for anyone and that includes Khabib.

Its cool cause boxing is taking off on fox, both benefited.

Didnt watch the UFC ( not really my thing ) always know though Max is tough af and in the highlights it looked like they would of had to carry his body out the ring for him to stop fighting.
