UF recruiting our current players. (rumor)

“Hoping Taylor transfers to own the slurpers “ is a very credible position .

I stand corrected.
His exact quote was "Would he be betterbserved to either away under Manny. I blame no one for getting off a sinking ship that doesn't have life jackets." He never said he hopes he transfers, just that he can understand why someone would and doesn't judge them if so. You are so quick to judge everyone else and throw shade at anyone that doesn't share your opinion that you entirely made that up out of thin air in your own head.

“Don't you know that if you step out and think anything besides Manny has this under control, you are a mope who is cheering against Miami?”

Yeah having opinions made up out of thin air in my head is something I need to work on.

Go look at the guy's quote and your response and tell me where I am wrong. You need to work on that and your reading comprehension. Have a good one.

Look at mine, that he felt the need to dumb down and tell me if it remotely resembles what you said.

After that, have a great day and enjoy your evening.

I did... your opinion is no one should transfer after three games. That's fine. I don't disagree, especially since 7-6 is looking a lot more likely that 11-2 and your boy will most likely be polishing Alabama's helmets this time next year. The other poster's opinion is he wouldn't blame someone that does not want to be coached in Manny's system. That's fine too... since that is his opinion. And if Manny sticks around, I wouldn't blame anyone that leaves either.

Like I said, reading comprehension.

Isn't UF Mullens dream job? He won't be quitting like Urban. He took Florida from having the 19th best overal recruit ranking to the 6th overall. He keeps recruiting like that and performing on Saturdays like he has been. We are going to be worse off than when Jimbo was at FSU.
Mullens is a "good" coach who won't ever get the Turds to the top.

He's worked in either North Florida or Mississippi for the past 17 seasons, but all those years in the Deep South haven't made him any less of a square peg in a round hole. The type of guy whose abrasive attitude inevitably wears out his welcome in a place like Gainesville.

Canes get our **** together with the right coach and we'll have a chance to cherry-pick players from a UF program that can't get over the hump and an FSU program still face down in the ditch.

What I actually said is I hope the team splits into 2 and half go to Florida State and the other half go to UF. At least that's what I'm told.

It’s funny that people say Blake is so good at fundraising. You know what else is good at fundraising, winning! If we put out a good product, it’s a trickledown effect for the school.
This times 1,000.

The athletic director's No. 1 responsibility should be to hire coaches in revenue sports who win at or beyond a level rational UM fans expect.

Labeling someone a good "fundraiser" is just providing cover for a JAG whose only redeeming quality is knowing how to schmooze big money alumni and donors — many of whom (like UM's current administration) don't give two ***** about college football or basketball.

It’s one thing to be stuck in your ways. It’s another thing to dig your heels in so far that you can’t see when you’re being an idiot, and then be an condescending *** when called on it.

I hate it but I understand. When I look at the film from our games, especially Michigan State, I see upperclassmen that should not be on the field. I can't imagine playing behind them seeing them ***** up constantly and the staff not make any changes all while preaching accountability.

100 percent agree with you. The football team made the school relevant and some people in the school act like it wasn’t the case. They act like they don’t want it to be the case.
Look at Baylor, Oklahoma, and some other football schools that have excellent medical programs.
I really don’t get it. The money this program will bring in Is huge and I can’t see why they would ignore it. The only answer I can think of is that Blake doesn’t think or know it’s possible and neither does the BOT.
Maybe I’m the one that doesn’t understand the way the money gets handed out. Maybe there are other factors involved. But I just don’t see a reason other than not knowing how much money is out there to be made.
Never knew a school a company or professional sports organization that would just ignore it.

Remember the tweet that was sent out when college game day was on campus for notre dame?
It said that the school got a record number of applicants and applicants to grad school that day!! That’s one college game day. Imagine being ranked in the top 5. Imagine next year playing tamu and Clemson. Imagine the playoffs.
It’s literally money sitting there to be made with all the **** resources at your disposal in the neighboring counties littered with nfl talent. It’s the dumbest sht I’ve ever seen. It’s like knowing what Bitcoin could be when it’s hundredths if a cent and you kept buying 300 dollars worth every month for the first year
IMO, some of the BOT may not care for the past negative portrayals of the program. Brawls with FIU, Colorado, San Diego State. Thug U. They
are unable to seperate the past image and success. Maybe I'm wrong.

Well apparently the BOT at Baylor can come to grips with rape and so can notre dame. The BOT of Oklahoma can come to grips with a white girl getting sucker punched. The Board of trustees at UF can forget about murder Mayham credit card fraud frying pan assaults and a bunch of other things because they just spent a boatload of money on their facility upgrades. The LSU board of trustees seem to have permanent amnesia about anything that goes on over there. They forget about embezzling money from pediatric cancer charities, sexual assault misogyny you name it they forget about it real quick.
So by saying that they’re scared about the image they’re basically saying that In order to build a really talented championship caliber football team you have to have a bunch of thugs and criminals on it.
However, you might be right as far as the image. I said on another thread that the schools baby is the medical school and hospital. All hospitals and healthcare facilities care more about image than anything else.

Baylor did not come to grips with rape. The President (Chancellor, or whatever), AD, and most successful HC in their history were fired.

None of other schools you mentioned had Miami's 'Thug U' image in the sports media. I've read and heard people link Aaron Hernandez to Miami because "he's from Florida" (the state). Urban Meyer is revered despite his baggage as 'winning at all costs'. Bobby Bowden joked 'boys will be boys' and eveyone laughs (to be fair, he wasn't referring to rapes by his players, as far as I remember).

In other words, yes, those other schools except Baylor place more emphasis on winning.

Personally, I've always felt Miami was amateur in the public/media relations department. Especially when dealing with local media who jump on scandals and incidents rather than turning a program-supporting blind eye like press in college towns.
