I got an idea... why don't we move this circus from Coral Gables to a place like Boca... maybe a change of scenery will stimulate the team, and hopefully Manny will stay in Miami to be close to Papasito. We may be able to get some cheap real-estate for a nice Hurricane Stadium in the process.

i hinted at an issue last week in the LT thread and he wasn’t happy. But as of now its cooled down. He’s right about the team , even they think he’s done. If he returned guys would leave. As for the hiring , all the eggs is are in the Mario basket. If he says no there’s a search.

What the players have to do is hopefully surround themselves with some decent mentors and realize Gainesville will NOT add a new mall till 2030 and Mullen's crew is likely to drop another 3 games this year. They should listen to their mentors and wait and see until we blow this thing up. The refreshed version has a good chance of making them the best they can be.

Agree that the work is already done with the freshman studs, They’re on campus. It’s a lot easier to get them on the field, than replace them. But if Manny is gone the whole “they won’t play you” staff will be gone.

I am not worried about Mario until Highsmith replaces Blake. I heard Blake is leaving one way or the other so that’s a start. Makes sense they are going all in on Mario.

As for the team, they will fold as soon as Virginia or UNC punches us in the mouth. Hopefully, it’s Virginia so we can fire Manny on the bye week.

Blake is the one that’s interesting , i hear different opinions. Some say they won’t let him go because if fundraising , then there’s people that think he’s awful / useless and some think he could be moved elsewhere. Blake with Mario is just too hard to believe .

I hope this is true. If blake is gone it's a step in the right direction.

Flo said the same you just said. Literally. Keeping Blake at AD ruins it for me with Basketball and Baseball.

Inshallah brother, I can't be ****d losing someone from this class. Whole recruiting process feels pointless if so
 
As I posted. This was already happening and manny threw a ton of chum in the water with the way these 3 games turned out.
If the BOT is taking a wait and see approach we are about to lose some of our best young players as well as the recruiting class. Manny is about to get portal fcked for thinking he’s the smartest guy in the room.
The BOT is gonna slow step us 3 years in reverse if that happens making a quality hire less likely.
No quality coach (not even Mario) wants to step into a a rebuild. If they act soon like less than 2 weeks soon the next coach is stepping into a layup. If not it will be worse then what cmr stepped into.

Blake wont have anyone to fundraiser to. Wmevetyine I know is done supporting his sheet shows. I support the players but will not support the school/program in any way. P.s. if somebody here can invent a spell check that actually works, we could fund who we want …lol

While I hope this happens, you’d have to really make these kids believe Mario is coming while he is still coaching at Oregon. That seems extremely tough.
