Is this used for all EPL teams? I thought it was for ****nal with Arteta’s cross and pray offensive system. But also read much more in depth with them than the others.

Here we go with half steps and half measures, that's what got us in this mess in the first place. It needs to be all or nothing or nothing will change. And I certainly don't think Mario will come if Blake is here.

It doesn’t have to be Mario imo. But it better not be a young up and commer. These kids are getting recruited on the low by Top programs with legit established coaches. Illegal or not it’s happening. And some young buck that’s kicking *** in Iowa or is top assistant that never coached p5 team isn’t gonna stop it. It’s sucks to be in this position cause the timing is so bad but it is a where we currently stand.

But Mario might have to be it for these kids to buy in again. Maybe Freeze.
 
Not really worried about it..if the right person is hired he should be able to keep the players he wants to keep…either way it goes you make the new hire and worry about the ramifications later.There will be coaches held over from this regime and that’s their job to keep things afloat until the new guy gets here.

But this is why you have to get the ball rolling now and have the new guy in place as soon as his season is over….to save not only this class but players like LT that have been screwed over by Manny .

But no matter who it is, with the tampering that goes on these kids can be plucked now with or without Manny. Even if Mario gets announced in January, some of these kids might be gone by then.

I’m sure Pope regrets not transferring to UF as him and Lingard would’ve been dominating the $EC.
 
UF can take half our roster and they will be just like Lingard. Kids should chill until they see what’s going to happen. IF Mario is the guy and we get lucky wouldn’t be surprised if some of the kids are pushed out and he hits the portal hard

What makes no sense to me is the fundraising angle being the reason some on the BOT want to keep him. Ok, so he raises funds, so so do most ADs in the country. He's a great fundraiser? Compared to whom? What makes the board think he's so special at fundraising that he's irreplaceable? If that is the only reason the BOT can give to keep him, I think it speaks volumes that they know he is basically useless as an AD since you could pick 100 ADs (and probably hundreds more assistant ADs) across the country, put them in the UM job and not only would they fundraise just as well, but they would also be far more competent in actually "directing the athletic programs" which seems to be a big part of the job given that is the job title. If his formal title was "Fundraising Director" and raising money was all his job required, then maybe their desire to retain him would make some logical sense.

Also, I don't know how much credit he should get for fundraising when part of the reason the school has to raise funds is that Blake James has ****ed away tens of millions with panic hires, ill advised contract buyouts, and unnecessary contract extensions.

We are fvcked if they start poaching our players. Isn't UF Mullens dream job? He won't be quitting like Urban. He took Florida from having the 19th best overal recruit ranking to the 6th overall. He keeps recruiting like that and performing on Saturdays like he has been. We are going to be worse off than when Jimbo was at FSU.

If we're 2-4 after Mack wipes his *** with Mannys face for the 2nd year in a row, things will get toxic. Blake didn't want to fire Golden in middle of the season but Dabo forced his hand. I think a lot hinges on the UVA game, and I don't see us winning thst one. This team isn't going to rally around Manny and writing will be on the wall heading into the UNC game if we lose to UVA.
