So, MDPD would have to know it was Hill after pulling him over and this way to treat him?

Why was he arrested? I doubt he was speeding at twice the legal limit or whatever it is in traffic.

Some type driving violation

I’m imagining weaving in and out of traffic at high rate of speed

I believe the instigator was under the influence and should be sacked from the force.

Reek didn’t help himself with his reaction but that motor officer with the tats needs a disciplinary action.

I mean I was taught to just say yes officer/no officer and don’t argue with cops if I get pulled over because this is what can easily happen as my own father learned at 18 or so in SC en route to UM from up north, but it’s certainly not a requirement and Tyreek told him to do what he’s got to do and the ******* cop went psycho. Was it the window thing? He rolled it up?? That’s not enough to justify this.

Those cops need to be fired and at a minimum the feds should look at civil rights charges.

**** these ******* pigs!

All of them should be fired for this bull**** but unfortunately not a god**** thing will happen. Not a single brain cell between the 12 cops there. None of them know how to be a ******* human being and be reasonable. All of them are power tripping and it's encouraged by most departments in America. The only time something like this would have any consequence is if the person would have been Ron DeSantis.

And they wander why everybody hates cops.

Who the **** cares if he rolled up his window. These cops were way out of line. There was absolutely no reason for them to escalate the situation. It's a ******* traffic stop and THEY KNOW it's Tyreek Hill. You can hear it in the body cam footage where the guy says "It's Tyreek Hill"

There's no warrant out for his arrest, why are they treating him like they just witness him assault someone in front of their eyes?

I have always held the opinion that all first responders have the most stressful and thankless jobs in our country. I have always believed that police officers should get the benefit of the doubt and be afforded due process before the public reacts because they put their lives on the line and they must react in split second decisions. I certainly cannot sympathize with that. But this is inappropriate behavior by MDPD. Hill isn’t a threat. Did he perfectly comply? No, but he isn’t a threat. His non-compliance wasn’t worthy of the officers using this kind of force and treatment, imo.

But again, police officers put their lives on the line and make split second decisions that altar lives. They are to be respected and obeyed.

But when they make clear bad decisions, they should be held responsible.

He probably rolled up his window to prevent a flurry of "Look, Tyreek got a ticket!" posts from flooding social media.

That said, he wasn't going anywhere, they had his license, and they could have put an officer on the other side of the car where he could roll down the window to keep an eye on him.
