He ran a 4.24 at the combine so I don’t see a big difference in that and a 4.19. That’s like saying you ran a 4.46 one day but your best time was 4.43. I wouldn’t doubt that at all.
That was at Louisville pro day. Not sure if it electronic or not.

Would be great to get Harrell and have a couple of guys running sub 10.4s. Very few college players are running that fast. A couple of tenths is a couple of yards separation. We let to many fast south Florida players go to other schools by not really going after them.

4.19 was hand timed and they say 4.22 verified at Louisville which is blazing fast if laser timed. Usually guys who run 4.22s are running 10.0s in the 100m. Harrell's 10.37 was over the wind limit but only a little. He ran consistently in the 10.5s something like eight times. Those are great times like Chris Johnson's times. Hopefully Johnson can get down to a 10.3 or 10.2 by the summer.

Just a comparison on laser times and their 40 yards and 100 meter times.

Anthony Schwartz best in 40 was a laser NFL 4.25 and in HS best was 10.07 and was running consistently 10.2s or better 10 times and 10.1s five times. Heard he wanted to come to UM but no interest from UM so he went to Auburn instead.

Christian Coleman ran the fastest 40 yard ever laser timed at 4.12 and has the world record in the 60 meter at 6.34 and 100 meter 9.76.

Just shows how far off these so called hand timed 40 yards can be when you look at their track times in the 100 meter where they compete with real laser times.

Is johnson enrolling early or defending state titles this spring? If he grind it out, he could hit 10.2/10.1 speed this spring.. Im definitely rooting for him to..

Did not know about the 10.3 time or the UL 40’s. Fast as a mf, regardless.

We are probably getting ahead of ourselves lol. Kid has 1 year left and will probably go somewhere where he knows he will produce. That’s a question mark here, at least currently.
hes a WR and we have gattis. you do the math

He still aint the #1 we need, but beggars can’t be choosers and he brings something that we don’t have. Hard to not see him as one our top outside guys when it boils down to it. Hopefully he wants to come home and ball out for a year but again, OC.
Without an OC change we just weren't going to attract a quality #1 WR

He’s one and done that’s when you can risk it. What better options? They aren’t coming here
Bryant jr is better and Kyle ford from scW is a tad better imo who’s last injury is from 2020

A vertical threat to replace Jameson Williams. Dude averaged 30 YPC in 2021, anyone who would pass on him here in on tranq.
I know. These guys still think Romello Brinson is going to be the next coming of Mike Wallace.
