Brother, honest question, did you sincerely read my post? I clearly said "if another big year".....implying that if Mensah and Mestamaker do have big years (unlike the guys you mentioned), they must be considered for the QB class for 2027 Draft.

That can be flipped on you .... what if Simpson comes to Miami and has a 35 TD 5 INT year and wins another natty? He would be ****ting on both Mensah and Mestemaker in the draft no matter what they did.

It’s not just about the first-year salary. It’s about the entire guaranteed pay package. For example, a fully guaranteed 4-year, $16M contract is worth far more than a one-year college salary of $4M. If you return, get injured, and regress, you could end up losing millions you would have made. Stil might be worth it if you think you can play yourself into a top 10 pick because now you're talking about $10M+ a year.
