Ty Simpson (has declared for the draft)

That doesn’t make sense. If it was about negotiating, then best option would be to enter portal asap to get a bidding war going. Simpson in the portal would be the clear #1 option. Now it’s basically down to Miami and Tennessee if he enters.
Yeah but the NFL Draft is part of the equation. 4 year guarantee with up front signing bonus for first rounders. Plus it creates desperation; there are already reports multiple teams have made offers.

If it's truly what they're up to, it's pretty smart, especially after seeing our results with Ward and Beck.

I mentioned the alleged first round grades for Ty to my Bama loving cousin and he said that sounds like something Deion would say about Shedeur :D
Cant Speak Nathan Fillion GIF

he doesn't develop quarterbacks?

I'm not a huge Dawson supporter but what the **** are you talking about lmao

Lincoln Riley, lane kfifin, Ryan day - go to the PORTAL for qb's

Dawson had the #1 offense in the country last year , took a qb with a day 2 grade and turnover problems and made him the #1 overall pick
Dawson had Cam Ward with that number one, please refer to last year‘s pop tart bowl first half vs second half of that bowl game when Cam left the number one offense like you say

May be way off, but Simpson strikes me as an SEC guy who cringes at the thought of playing for Miami. Yes, money talks. But I would’ve had a real hard time playing for UF when I was in school. Rational or not, I probably would’ve entered the draft rather than play for a team I hated growing up.

Good. Miami is the most SEC team in the country.
