I think it kills him the season went the way it did. He just wants to give it all he has. He's not a quitter. People criticize him for not being a vocal leader but this is leadership at it's best in a different way. Actions speak louder than words ..

Agreed. Plus the fact that he tried to play following his injury, and that he is going to try today, makes me think he's unlikely to transfer. If he gave up on being a Cane he wouldnt be putting himself on the line despite the season being lost already.

I just don’t understand him wanting to play unless there is no risk of further injury or he wants to prove to pro scouts he is healthy.

It much to really gain by playing for him.

Will be really interesting to see if he comes back. If he declares I don’t think he goes before rd 5 or later

Healthy or not, his NFL "value" has plummeted since the start of this season. Late round pick at best. He needs to come back.

Also, I question his mobility. Did he put on weight this season? Seems much more "lumbering" back in the pocket (such as it is with our porous OL) than he was last year.

Might just be banged up but he did seem slower this year when trying to move around or run outside the pocket.
