TVD is the problem

TVd is playing the same
Last year Harley could actually catch the balls thrown his way
And Rambo would win a lot of 1 on 1 balls
I think not having Rambo is the biggest issue
Last year a lot of times he could just throw it deep to Rambo and he would win the contested balls
We don’t have anyone close to Rambo right now

His placement on the deep ball isn’t good.

He is throwing passes down the sideline on the inside shoulder and it is causing incompletions and near interceptions.

He was throwing those passes to Rambo on the outside shoulder and gave him a chance to make a play.

These teams have figured out that if you play off coverage and make the deep shots difficult, we will beat ourselves.

We need a heavy dose of rpo to combat some of this. Teams are refusing to bring the safety up even when we are running well.

The current reality is it’s a bro-style offense that a bunch of average and a bunch of 2nd year WRs that came in knowing nothing about rhythm and timing up routes and QB drops.. can’t run anything but a screen and a 9 are trying to get it done.

X has his routes and timing perfected. Tyler hits his drop step and ball is supposed to be coming out and receivers are either ahead of the rhythm or behind. Not running the right depth. No consistency and no separation. A bro-style offense has to have rhythm and we can’t figure it out.

From Lashlee to this is high school to NFL in terms of concepts and difficulty. We are Michigan in 2019. This is exactly what they looked like. There’s a reason they were very good in year 3.. it takes that long to iron it out and perfect it.
I Def think you could see last night there is a lot of work to still be done. I know many are angry cause we could of won that game minus the miscues. But I was kinda encouraged to see our offense could dominate an SEC opponent on the line of scrimmage. I think Mario will be alright in the long term but he said day 1 in press conference it will take some time to build. Culture is changing and the players have some fight to them.. I think the passing game will catch up and become more balance..just not this year...

Very satisfied with the LOS. Ironic that the university of Miami can whip a top 5 roster in the trenches but lacks skill talent.

I would think it was the opposite at Miami and it usually is

Explain what he did last night, apparently he did not game plan very well.
Dude. It was sarcasm. He was never, ever going to do that. The only people stupid enough to believe that he wasn't brought here to run exactly what he does are sunshine pumping dip****s

That exactly what it felt like bro!!. We felt like a power team and last year we couldn't continue drives because we couldn't get 1 yard on two rush attempts under Lashlee

How did he go from what we saw last season to “bad”?

Because the current El Jefe, "who gets the culture and is one of us, a total savage" is too arrogant to pay attention to what the last one already showed him. Warihole has ****ed up an elite QB before.

This **** is so retarded. Herbert’s stats from his final year were great. They went 12-2 and won the rose bowl. Why do y’all continue to post nonsense? Herbert and TVD aren’t even near the same category. That whole “wasted” a QB comes from one stupid *** espn segment that mike tannenbaum did where he lied and said he wanted the phins Herbert. Because he’s a slimy, loser **** who has never amounted to **** and wanted to claim he knew what to do after the fact.

Please, the first thing Mario did with Herbert was go 9-4.

He did the exact same thing with Herbert, he ignored everything he did well under Willie Cotdam Taggart and ****ed away what should have been a playoff run with asinine losses to Auburn and ASU. In COLLEGE that's wasting a talent.

12-2 Rose Bowl Champion Rose Bowl MVP 3500 yards 35 TDS 6 Ints. But keep lying to yourself.

Go read what Michigan fans said about Gattis. Then go read Oregons fans gripes on Mario’s offensive MO the last few years. Then watch our offense. After that go watch Tvd in Lashlees offense. We knew this was a possibility. @Liberty City El warned the board.

After watching this offense three weeks , the route concepts , play calling , clock management and you still feel like he’s the issue you should probably stay away from talking football.
Yes but they can both be the problem. Tvd played really bad the last two weeks.

Not only do our WRs fail to separate and drop the ball, but they can't block for ****.

aTm CB dogged them all night. Blew them up on the screen calls and the runs to the edge. Specifically Key Smith several times, and Ladson got blown up bad on the screen to his side (and looked lazy and uninterested afterwards).

I noticed last week, TVD appeared slow on his delivery when throwing. It is like he is moving in slow motion. If this offensive scheme does not fit his style of play, why don't the coaches adjust to accommodate TVD's style of play. Good teachers/coaches adjust to students' abilities. Then, gradually add to the adjustment. TVD appears very unsure of himself.
