That is some archaic, caveman *** thinking man. There are only so many quality reps you can squeeze into the permissible practice hours, throwing on your own with the receivers who want to be there is fine. If there are receivers who don't want to put in the extra work, **** em. The guys who stayed late to work on routes and timing would probably be my favorites too.

If he was fine with learning a new system wouldn’t he just hit the portal and go to a team with the best offense to improve his draft stock? Who knows honestly I don’t have information and have no clue if Gattis is staying or leaving. I’m just saying on the surface it looks like he’s coming back.

For those downplaying TVD, imagine TVD with an offensive line. Compare our pocket versus some of the more elite teams in the country. I think you are kidding yourself if you don't think there are some teams out there that would be very intrigued what TVD could do with a clean pocket.

In TVDs case, what he clearly doesn't have is mobility/"escapability" in the pocket.
