You’re absolutely right, but Mario is a complete control freak, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he does this.

I don’t know if you guys noticed this, but in the first home game the DJ was playing music between every play, sometimes even as we started to call our plays on offense. I’m just guessing, but I bet it drove Mario crazy, because in the second game there was considerably less music and less crap from that cruise director guy. In fact there were long stretches of peace and quiet between plays where you could talk to your neighbors, just like football used to be.

C'mon, cut him a little slack. He may be the starting QB and he may be getting a lot of NIL money, but in the end he's still a kid. In fact, he's younger than 2 of mine, and I can't tell you how many stupid things they say. Maybe you get a little more forgiving and understanding to peoples mistakes when you get to be as old as me (and I'm getting pretty old) since we all have said our fair share of stupid things. Hopefully he'll learn to keep his mouth shut. Now if he continues to put his foot in it, then he is fair game to criticize.

I guess I just don't see the problem with what he said in that it's accurate as ****. Come FSU, it'll be packed, but besides that, we're unlike any other previous national champion in thay we aren't very well attended besides big games. It's always been that way and it won't ever change.

If you can’t understand why your starting QB, who is the leader and ambassador, getting paid legit money now to represent the Miami Hurricanes get’s taped trashing the game environment and stating he prefers to play away game is bad for recruiting and program perception then I question your critical thinking skills. His statements will not motivate more fans to show up. If anything it will get people against him. Next time he shows up and plays like trash like he did last Sat he should get booed, and deserve everything he has sown by being an idiot.
