TVD Announced as Starter

I don’t understand this at all. TVD should never take another snap here.

Unless Mario is planning to put Jacurri in the game second series - get Louisville to game plan for TVD and then get JB in there early.

I honestly was pleasantly surprised that TVD was so engaged during the FSU game, cheering Emory on and generally being a good teammate. He has his limitations but he could have easily checked out and didn’t. For that reason alone, let’s cheer him on Saturday.
 
I guess start TVD and when he struggles bring in Jacurri. Kind of a fan of it so Louisville will be ready for Tyler and Jacurri can **** em down when TVD gets pulled

I don't quite get the response from CIS. I probably do the same thing if I was coach. In practice, TVD probably looks better. I mean, we chose to go with Emory, who's been here a few months over JB. While Emory hasn't turned it over, he's struggled. They have no confidence in JB throwing the ball.

If I had to make the call, I probably go TVD with a super short leash.

Either way, the real answer is they probably both suck and were going to lose regardless. You guys really having selective memory on JB last year. Don't care if you paste numbers from GT game. Either way, we're ****ed and that's on no one but Mario for not bringing in backup plans.

They bet on getting the good TVD from his freshman year when they offered him NIL to stay. They bet wrong, as did a lot of fans. And we're ****ed.

Lastly, say I'm JB and I've let coaches know I'm leaving (not saying it's true). Say I already have my landing spot chosen. No effing way I play in a game and potential look bad and risk that transfer opportunity. If I had to guess, the decision was originally made for JB to redshirt and develop. Once the call was made to go Emory and the developing didn't happen, I'd bet transferring became a more realistic option.

We have the worst fan base when it comes to.selective memory. The worst being lashlee and his 3 n outs that last 30 seconds and his hb dives. JB. Lack of run defense or 3rd down defense with Manny. The list goes on and on and on.

We're always a season away and when one group or area improves the rest goes to he'll in a handbasket. Feels like we'll always be average at this point.

Let's pray Mario can get us the right sized team and the proper infrastructure. Pray he gets us to an annual 9-10 win team. And the lastly hope to God somehow we strike gold with a new coach in 6-7 years.

Why? He’s clearly happiest and most animated as a back up on the bench.
