I would want to retain Dawson for 2 simple reasons
1) he's a good OC and there is more room for Mario to hire someone worse than better
2) He just figured out how to Properly feed the **** out of Toney AND his system prioritizes the slot so we would be guaranteed to force feed our best player next season ... This is a major positive imo

I spoke with someone at Tulane today. Tulane will look at Dawson, but his agent is feeding reporters stuff (specifically one reporter in New Orleans who keeps mentioning Dawson's name).

Admittedly, I haven't really followed Dorsey's coaching career closely but I thought he was with the Browns then on to the Bills as the OC. IMO, you are one of the most knowledgeable posters here so, I am curious as to why you feel this strongly about his ability as an OC.

wasn't all on Beck, either, as much as you like to portray it. Bad playcalling, poor officiating and an arrogant game plan contributed greatly to both losses. Dawson was certainly part of that.

Louisville was 90 % Beck 10% everything else, Don’t care how bad the play calling is As a QB your number 1 job is to protect the football ..u can’t give away the ball 4 times and expect to win.

Disagree. We ran way less outside runs in the first half of the season. Maybe an off season task I will go back and see how many runs had lineman pulling for lead blocks finishing the season compared to beginning

Wrong. He didn't threaten that frontside edge defender which allowed them to crash down and make the play. So you're partly right in the fact that we were played mostly 12 personnel early on. Now we're in more 11 with the threat of Mali to hold that frontside edge. Ask Lance
