We have a whole roster offered by all the schools and still a better defense then all of them and if not for Ahmons tragic injury coupd hang at wr for the most part, te and rb with anybody. We win and lose our battles like everybody so scared *** dudes don't follow if you're not up to this simple
Fans cant be scared though there not playing in the games or on the staff, all we do is root and have opinions. If the basis is we get beat out for top prospects then it is what it is as long as its facts. We get raped annually on NSD theres truth to that

It appears, in a weak QB class, Miami threw all their eggs behind Mike Johnson only to miss...with no decent QB options left, it appears we won't be taking one....

My only question on this is why not take a flyer on a 3-star with some potential, DEVELOP HIM, and keep a warm body around for 2-3 years?? Its not like we are hard up from a scholarship perspective. We are way past the point of worrying about devaluing "the Miami offer". This, to me, makes way too much sense not to happen: Offer a Florida 3-star QB with some upside , bring him in, and ya know, COACH HIM UP. Ya know, something a COMPETENT QB Coach should be able to handle....

Exactly this. All over CFB there are unheralded 3* shoot guys like Lamar Jackson in our backyard. Give find one and see if he develops. But to have no new faces in that QB room is silly.

If we are going to take a grad transfer to be nothing more than a practice arm, we might as well recruit a 3 star and groom him up. Or find some PWO to be Practice Arms. No Grad Transfer is going to come here to sit the pine especially if we have 3 Freshman QBs already on the Roster.
Coaching staff hasn’t be able to coach up the Three young qb’s they have now.

We have a 3* flyer on the roster already and he's only a redshirt freshman. How many project QBs should we give scholarships to?

Whoever is 3rd coming out of spring is gone.

That's why I'm thinking it's going to be Weldon (that and his litany of suspensions). Perry has the inside track (even though I think JW has the higher ceiling and it should be a fair competition this time) for the starting QB job.

Definitely wouldn't surprise me, and my money would be on Weldon not being here in the fall as well.

Weldon will leave no doubt but a 3* flyer who you actually develop at worst can be a good backup if/when needed. To be honest I don't think there are many 3-4 year starting qbs in this class but you still have to take a shot
