TS2

Add onto that, again, Mario was a deer in headlights the entire game and had NO ANSWER for what was happening outside of replacing TVD, which only made it look a little closer on the scoreboard.

I hope I’m wrong, but this UNC game is about to be a bloodbath.

TS:

It was just a normal week of practice after the Texas A&M game. Everybody came out and worked hard, maybe there was a little tiredness and soreness from playing a big opponent. It happens like that. But it was just a normal week of practice.

I literally did not see this coming. It was a shock for a lot of us. We came out and we practiced hard, we didn’t treat them lightly. We didn’t think we were going to come in and it would be easy. We didn’t think any of that. It was good practices. Even Coach Cristobal agreed with that and was like `I thought Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday were good practices for us, we were locked in, we were focused.’ And, you know, it didn’t show on Saturday. Just throughout the week I felt we were locked in, were focused and knew the game plan.

And for people that say we looked tired, I wouldn’t say we were tired. But that’s what it showed. Just mentally we were not as on edge as they were. It’s just from our standpoint a lackadaisical game, and we know we could have played way harder. I felt we were there physically, we were there emotionally, but mentally as far as no fans, delay of game with the rain, some players handle that different. I felt our mental part of the game wasn’t completely locked in, and it showed.

- It’s just simple mistakes, simple busts. We have those every game, but at the same time, this is a game that they found it and they capitalized off it. Every game we go into we have people who know what to do, know how to do it, know when to do it. Sometimes it happens as a football player you bust, kind of get a mental brain fart. It happened a couple of times and they just exposed it.

-I pulled my groin on that long run.

It was just a sharp pain that continued to hurt with every step and every time I lifted my leg. Me and the trainers decided it wasn’t best for me to go back out there and finish the game because we didn’t know how dangerous and how threatening it was to me and my career.

When I was chasing the receiver down on that 89-yard play, it started hitting toward the middle of it. As I’m running and I realized I had to switch my form, switched my form and I kind of felt it pull. I wasn’t too much thinking about it because my only thing was `Make sure you go grab him, you’re already running so make sure you grab him.’

I’ll definitely be fine for North Carolina, will probably be practicing by the end of this week, getting back in with my boys and try to figure out what we can all be better at.

Huh? What in the world are you talking about? Read the entire blog post. I understand he was trying to see what was on Stevenson’s mind, but the point is it sounds like nobody is on the same page.

I have no idea how you get that I’ve “never managed people” from me simply quoting an excerpt of him rambling on and basically amounted to a bunch of generic nonsense. Nothing against TS personally, perhaps he simply doesn’t want to make anything public, but regardless it’s very far from promising.

Sorry but It wasnt clear you were talking about TS2 not inspiring confidence. It sounded like you were referring to Cristobal... notice how every single post in response to your post alluded to that also?

If we were locked in all week and it wasn’t preparation.

The rain delay could’ve played a big part I guess, footballville is on the sidelines for the games and he said the team looked flat pregame

That plus in game coaching could lead to a disaster, a couple bad plays and it just went downhill

I dunno I think TS answered as good as you can but I kinda see what you mean as well

There is literally no explanation for it other than what he said (they wanted it more than us)

You don’t even need to watch the film when you lose a game like this
You are right his answer was ok. What did anybody think he was going to say? We have no heart, no talent, our QB sucks. We cant gain two yards. We were a no show last week. The problem is this happens every year. Miami thinks against a weaker team they can go through the motions and win games. There was no effort last week. That is why they lost.

Facts. It boggles my mind where we get this arrogance from considering we've been irrelevant for awhile now. But Mario has to take personal accountability for making sure these guys are always ready. Everyone in the Hecht must know every team will ALWAYS give us their best and want to beat us badly. They all want to embarrass the team from the 30 for 30 docs.

TS2 is a nickel/star or SS. Kirby was right about him and there’s nothing wrong with that. Unfortunately kid will play himself out of round 1-2 if he doesn’t realize where his skill set lies.
Kirby knows DBs.

TS is the best Miami has right now, but at UGA he was just a rotational guy who was fighting for playing time. That’s the cold, hard reality.
