Jesus some fans are dense........this isn't about keeping Randy.

It's about holding Al Golden to the same standard as Randy was. And ironically Al is worse than Randy was at this point.

We're 6-5. 6th place in one of the worst divisions in football. This is his 4th season at the helm.

This is all on Golden and he needs to be fired.

The best player Saturday was actually a Shannon player--Walford.

This is true. I forgotten that Clive had red-shirted.

I think the only ones we have left from the Shannon era are Warlord, McDermott, and Feliciano (all starters).

Other than that, these are Al's guys.

No reason to point the finger at Shannon for the current struggles.
 
fact of the matter is we have made lousy decisions on coaches and AD's for the past 10 years.....
Coker, Shannon & AL were major reaches and each one failed for a variety of reasons...
Paul Dee forward our AD situation has not been much better.
I do not need another Donna decision on Coaches....... and the jury is still out on B.James
and our you going to trust him with a coaching decision ?
we been on a downward spiral since Donna got here..... need a President who values what football means to the U
Warren is an HOF football player and not much else

A 10 win VT team

A 9 win GT team

A 8 win Oklahoma team with Demarco Murray and Gerlald Mccoy and others. Sam B did not play, but they were still loaded. We started a 2nd year QB too.

A 11 win GT team


RS was better than Alice Folden.......AND HE NEEDED TO GO!

Al should be fired and I hope it's next week.

But using race to put pressure on the administration just makes me disappointed that that is the best tactic our fan base can use.
 
This is not about RACE! It's about a coach that is not producing good enough results. Shannon was just as bad and left the team void of talent.

All of this falls on Shalala and the BOT for making three incompetent hires in Coker, Shannon and Golden...

A tactic? Why else is Al being given the benefit of the doubt for being identical in all OTHER ways to Randy?????

the 2007 team was FAR worse than the 2011 team that F/A/G inherited. now the 2012 team was probably closer to the 2007 team in terms of talent, but F/A/G did NOT inherit a worse depth chart than Randy did. nope.
 
you guys are missing the point. Randy was not a good coach and i believed deserved to be fired. That being said, he beat FSU twice and was 5-3 in acc. He was a lifelong cane who did well as DC. We are showing loyalty to Golden who twice cornered us for an extension (remember end of season 1 and the BC rumors) and tried to bail to PSU. He stayed in miami because he came from temple where he had crakcheads walking around the campus. lets be real.

***** LULZ, are you serious???? We had a punter playing Wr!!!!!!....and Kirby was our QB!!!!!!!! Randy also dealt with the Pata murder, the FIU brawl- I mean...parents were actually afraid that their kids would get MURDERED if they came to Miami!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GTFOOHWTPABSYFAC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
