^Portis had media credentials with the ACC Digital Network.Maybe we have certain guests and the sideline is going to be slammed packed and only hand full of older players were allowed .. the ones that jumped on it from before.... also I recall seeing Portis on the sidelines at an away game jumping up and down! so there is more to this story and this is not "Golden not letting old school players stand on sidelines" and I am SURE he was given a good reason and was offered VIP treatment , press box and suit access....
PB helped this program and he earns the ticket to say what he wants but i am not buying this story as its being told

See that's the problem, the millionaires are welcome on the sideline. Edgerrin James, Jeremy Shockey, and the like don't have anything to worry about. It's people like Thrill Hill, Riley, and KC Jones that are cut off and told to purchase tickets. You think Donna wants a bunch of millionaire NFL guys on the sideline? She wants these kids dreaming about accounting, and looking up to Shakespeare, not double a gap blitzes and Ray Lewis.
This **** and her supporters have nearly completely turned us into Wisconsin.

I'm not surprised people are siding with Kim Jong Al's decision to freeze out a championship winning Miami Hurricane player because he publicly called him out for his poor performances.
Ya'll are creepy.
LMAO at Golden being "family." Your family member tried to sneak off to Penn State in the middle of the night during the stretch run of recruiting. Zany old Uncle Al had his cell phone on silent while he tried to get the Penn St gig. Golden was looking down at 55 missed calls from James and Shalala, hitting reject so his pocket would stop lighting up. **** out of here.
PBuch has hoisted trophies for this U. He's been on record-breaking teams.
Golden hasn't even won a ****ing bowl game. Dude can't even win his own division. He isn't part of this Miami clique. He's an outsider.
Family? SHEEEEEIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT.
In Al Golden's first ever press conference he said "I welcome the former players as long as they dont ask any questions. when they do they are no longer allowed back.". Randy Shannon was the coach who HATED having former players at the game, especially his former teammates.
Warren Sapp has criticized Golden before and guess who invited Sapp last year to spring practice? Golden
These posts just show how much of a cesspool this place is

the miami football twitter and facebook account tracks nfl canes all sunday but wouldn't let them in on saturdays.
some may call that ironic.
I call that hypocrisy. this must be changed. nfl ballers coming back to the u is one of few things that miami has that no one else has.
