the more we miss on other elite talents, the more I like our chances here. Gun powder is going to win this recruitAre we still pretending Miami has a shot here?
We have 20 years of WR gun powder left...the more we miss on other elite talents, the more I like our chances here. Gun powder is going to win this recruit

Then hire the best position coaches or the best recruiting position coaches. SimpleIm' just talkin in terms of 5 star WR homie, UGA & Clempson are gonna battle us moreso for 5 star trench monsters like we've been seeing this a lot this cycle. But expecting to land 5 star WRs outta HS when u havent been putting guys in the league during these jits lifetime is funny to me. Sure we might throw a bag n get one once in a blue moon but most will end up @ WR factories or with coaches who put guys in the league as they should. We have some good NFL talent in that room today that we can develop n help change the narrative about Miami for Elite WRs. two of our most recent high profile 5 star battles ended w kids going to the schools respected for putting guys at the next level in this era DJ pickett(LSU & DBS) and Jeremiah Smith ( OSU & WRs) ...are those outcomes surprsing to anybody?? Cantwell himself said he chose us because he beleives Mirabal is one of the best OL coaches.
I’m taking the field on this oneAre we still pretending Miami has a shot here?
Money will do 95% of the recruiting the other 5% is getting kids drafted high, if our Wr coach or school can’t show em any track record we’ll keep losing the 5stars to OSU & LSU.Then hire the best position coaches or the best recruiting position coaches. Simple
Get rid of Beard
So 9.5 out of 10 recruits. Got it, so the three star picks the schools that can turn him into a 5 star. Cause those are the ones that need full development. Other lower rated players benefit from stars commanding all the attention. 5 stars believe in themself f a track record. And they post on social media about track records but it’s bs, they know what to say when everyone is watching.Money will do 95% of the recruiting the other 5% is getting kids drafted high, if our Wr coach or school can’t show em any track record we’ll keep losing the 5stars to OSU & LSU.
Toledo would never get a JJ Smith because they can’t afford him…Miami can afford him but we can’t offer him anything that OSU wouldn’t be able to match. So u have a situation where money is relatively the same…what reason would he choose Miami OVER OSU other then “putting on for the crib” ?So 9.5 out of 10 recruits. JJ for example let’s say he post I want to be developed by Hartline. It’s easy asf to get the media off you and a quick trained way to get out of an interview and say things fans want to hear. He knows **** well he goes to Toledo he’s still a top 5 pick, he knows this. Wake up people
Not entirely directed at OP, but I got to vent cause I don’t understand how people can’t see this.
I’m using an example of his skill. If he goes to Toledo he’s the same top 5 pick. That’s what I am saying. Yep he was NFL ready outta high schoolI’m using an example of his skill. If he goes to Toledo he’s the same top 5 pick. That’s what I am saying. The film tells the story
And those are the guys we have to recruit. Problem is each cycle the top tiers grab most of themYep he was NFL ready outta high school
There not many of them every cycle. The jj’s and dylan stewarts are a small groupAnd those are the guys we have to recruit. Problem is each cycle the top tiers grab most of them
