Tremain Mack

I was at the game as well. A friend of mine played for WVU so he got his family and myself tickets. I went to Morgantown with them. It was brutal. Ferguson broke his hip and they turned the ambulance over on its side. They had people bringing cases of beer into the stadium. Shannon got hit with a trash can. Someone launched a sub sandwich at me from the upper deck and hit me in the back of the head with it. After the game, I was in a very somber WVU locker room. I didn't hear what was said, but those dudes looked like they had just been to a funeral. I believe the Big East forced WVU to issue an apology to the U the very next day for their fan behavior throughout the contest. Without a doubt, the roughest environment we ever played in, and I'm not talking about crowd noise.
I forgot about the Danyell Ferguson ambulance ride. Just disgraceful.

It was Tremain Mack's birthday yesterday. It is a really tough time to be a canes fan right now but this was one one of the best turnaround finishes ever for the canes football program. 26 years later and I still love watching it.

Enjoy!

The look on the faces of those fans are the looks we now have as fans.

I see you, @Brooklyndee, with the nice TD run back 👀👀👀👀

Ryan Clement played with a 3rd degree shoulder separation. Ryan Covington could not play since he had a concussion. We stole a win. We won on pure determination.
You are right about that seperated shoulder of Clement and that Scott Covington was not avaiable.

Was he offsides? Go back and watch the reply. It was really close. Tremain was also so quick that it may have just looked that way.
No. The long snapper had a tell that allowed him to guess the snap. Look at the overhead and you will see the snapper drop his hips to get the power to snap it. Good snappers get their power just from his arms.

I blocked a bunch of punts in HS by getting a similar jump on the tell and not once was called offsides because of it.

I was at that game. WVU had some of the nastiest fans I’ve ever seen. An older WVU fan sitting next to us warned us to stay in the stadium until it emptied out before leaving because “some of these good ol’ boys are gonna be looking for a fight tonight”.
I was there too.

Its the only sporting event I've attended where I legitimately feared for my life leaving.

This is a great piece of information. Thanks a lot.

T-Mack is one of my all time favs.

And, he's low key one of the best athletes to come through UM. Iirc, he was a 10.3 100m guy.

He would have been an all pro in the league. But, the off the field stuff got in the way.
