Tremain Mack

Was he offsides? Go back and watch the reply. It was really close. Tremain was also so quick that it may have just looked that way.

I was at that game. I remember a WVU fan throwing a glass coke bottle into the Miami fan section after that play. They also tried to tip over the Miami fan bus after the game.

It was Tremain Mack's birthday yesterday. It is a really tough time to be a canes fan right now but this was one one of the best turnaround finishes ever for the canes football program. 26 years later and I still love watching it.

Enjoy!

If ever there was a Bat Signal for @SWFLHurricane , this is it...

I still remember that game. Was jumping up and down of joy in front of my old 9 inch Blaupunkt color tv.. We shut them up, it was beautiful.

I was at that game. WVU had some of the nastiest fans I’ve ever seen. An older WVU fan sitting next to us warned us to stay in the stadium until it emptied out before leaving because “some of these good ol’ boys are gonna be looking for a fight tonight”.

That was the game where those hillbillies tossed a trashcan from the upper deck, giving Randy Shannon that permanent dent in his head—as well as trying to tip over the ambulance that had Danyell Ferguson in it, en route to the hospital after he dislocated his hip.

Props to you for venturing into Morgandump. Never had a desire to go to that hole during our Big East days. Heard horror stories about the 1993 loss up there and that did it in for me.

Recall watching this game in my college apartment in Gainesville with some Gators buddies who were talking trash all night (as they were en route to their first title). I told them Tremain would block that kick (as the announcers soon said the same thing) and then it happened .... Mack ... to Hallmon on the recovery ... to Brooks who ran it in.

Love the clips of the crowd after. That one dude definitely went home and beat his wife on that drive out of there. Those Mountaineers fans HATED the Canes, in a gross and racist way.

People don't realize how fast Nate The Great was....

Great read by Mack on the center who telegraphed the snap a bit (4:53).

We had 162 total yards that night.
We may not be that prolific on O vs Pitt, so we’ll need 3 or 4 of those on Saturday.
Ryan Clement played with a 3rd degree shoulder separation. Ryan Covington could not play since he had a concussion. We stole a win. We won on pure determination.
